10.1 overs of dots in a T20I game by Pakistan

As unbelievable as it might sound, but yes we played more than half of the innings with dots- ZERO runs. Not only is this pathetic, it is probably a record (need someone to confirm). I think this stat alone represents what kind of mentality Misbah has brought to our t20 team. Although I still have hope that we will at least draw one game of test match.

What do you expect with Misbah at the helm?

Nothing new and nothing to be surprised about.

Pakistan's dot ball percentage has been very well documented over the years and has not changed neither will it change going forward until and unless mediocrity is there.

What else do you expect with imam, haris and rizwan in the team?

This is T20's and even 12 runs off 12 balls is enough to lose you a match.

Guys at least all of the oldies are out from the T20I team.

Next step is the Test team

Fairly or unfairly this type of performance will also bring more scrutiny to Misbah

tbh i actually want one of the oldies in the team- by oldies i am talking about shoaib malik and hafeez. although they are aging quite rapidly, they were crucial part of our t20 winning combination, which seems ages ago now.

Pakistan cricket is played with muhalla tape ball mentallity, dot dot dot 6 dot 4

this team needs to be built around babar, and but misbah the genius built the team like babar. all the players are accumulators.

all we need is one and thats babar. rest of the batters need to power hitters.

the fact the people get paid 250k and cant even figure that out shows the level of incompetency in the coaching staff, aka misbah the apparent Savior

Malik is an FTB and Hafeez has regressed exponentially in the last year.

if thats true then it means even papua new guinea (recently qualified for world t20) are probably more professional in their approach.

You can put any player in this team and it won’t make a difference. This team will bring the same results due to the coaching staff being poor.

Haris is trying to turn into a hitter which is not his primary trait. I'm afraid his batting in ODIs may suffer as a result.

Wrong. it's the exact opposite. Our best players are inferior to other teams' best players, and we rarely play our best players.

Who are people going to blame now that Sarfraz is no longer there. I am now awaiting for the arm chair morons to start calling for Babar to be removed as capitain!

Misbah will be delighted with these sorts of stats. It will show him we're not taking undue risk. He can give himself a big pat on the back.

This is the legacy of Misbah the same one who almost made us so terrible that we did not automatically qualify for the last world cup. The same misbah with 0 credentials to be head coach is head coach, batting coach and chief selector. His name for tuk tuk fgs, how did anyone expect anything different

They won't say a word again Misbah, Waqar and the main architect of this destruction Wasim Khan who has pushed our cricket years back by appointing Misbah.

The pressure and scrutiny will destroy Babar the batsmen just at the point he was maturing into a world class player. He will be totally distracted by the team politics, media and ex-players giving advise, dealing with selection and captaincy issues.

What a silly and shortsighted nation we are.

This is exactly what I have been saying since he was appointed captain, I always said Imad wasim should have been appointed t20 captain but even he is performing horribly nowdays.

Misbah must be laughing all the way to the bank.

Thank you Wasim Khan, but dat British accent tho :salute

Quick, book another series against Zimbabwe B and these same guys will look like world beaters again.

Sadly this mediocre bunch were bound to be exposed by a top side. And the two unqualified and unproven coaches at the helm will not get us out of this mess.

Making Misbah-ul-Haq coach was one of the worst decisions ever.

Disgusting, that’s why I haven’t watched hardly any cricket since Micky was fired.

I hope you watched the game.

Players playing and missing balls etc - how can that be blamed on Misbah?

Maybe the Pcb should actually consider split coaches for limited overs and tests.

So even when we were winning series after series our first 6 overs werent that good, pretty surprising that we achieved number 1 ranking even by being ordinary in the power play. This shows that we were more strong in the middle overs and even that hasnt gone well in this series due to loosing a lot of wickets on top of not scoring runs in first 6 overs.

Block, slog, block, slog, block slog.

Club cricket, brainless mentality.

I didn't watch the game, but damn was the batting THAT bad? Or was Aussie bowling too good?

Holy hell we top a good stats table for once :))

For me, the match started at 3:30 am, so i was planing on staying up the whole night to watch it, but i fell asleep around 1 am. When i woke up in the morning and checked the scorecard i was glad i didn't stay up to watch this train wreck.

Same with me, I was relieved to see our scorecard because some of my friends trolled me saying I missed an epic victory.

When you got people like M Rizwan in the team.
What do you expect?

Too many batsmen of a similar nature, who prefer to nudge the ball around and who take a bit of time to get settled at the crease and don't really have the ability to launch the ball over the ropes.

This is what happens when you put Imam, Haris and Rizwan in the top 4 in a t20. Obviously Misbah didn't tell them to play and miss, but if you are selecting so many accumulators and expecting them to hit then this will be the result.

Tell that to Misbah

It was the biggest blunder appointing him over Dean Jones.
