2009 Australia A v Pakistan A [ODI] - 2nd Match - Australia draw series level

Pakistan A captain Mohammad Hafeez has won the toss and not surprisingly chosen to bat first. They've made one change with Ghumman in for Latif. David Warner and Clint McKay in for Aus A with Krejza and Tait out.

Warner has been in canny form for us so is a thread - lets hope we can rack up a big score again

latif in Pak A squad to sri lanka and is dropped in this game for ghumman who isnt in squad...strange?

Over 0.4: Bollinger to Hafeez, FOUR, drives hard and edges just past the diving right hand of Voges at 2nd slip

Over 3.1: Geeves to Hafeez, FOUR, short ball pulled away nicely in front of square leg

They don't seem to understand the concept of 'strike rotation'. Too many dot balls.

yeh kia ho raha hai
11 runs, 31 balls, run rate 2.10
koi chokka koi chakka ya atleast single double couple of time in an over will be nice

Aur naazarien yeh single. Date and time note kar lijeay

2009-07-12 09:24 Over 5.3: Geeves to Hafeez, one run, drives into a gap wide of mid off for a single

The Aussies did well to take Our best advantage out of the team , TAIT .
The Openers are stuggling to score off Medium-pacers , are their Fast Bowlers in the team?

Over 6.1: Bollinger to Hafeez, FOUR, short ball smacked away with a pull shot. Was just to the left of the fielder at square leg, but he had no chance.

Over 6.2: Bollinger to Hafeez, SIX, short again and Hafeez has gone after it. He has lofted the hook shot over the man at long leg for our first six of the day!

my SMS got to the batsman. A four and then a six
- Ufone tum he to ho

Now to wake up the sleeping Azhar Ali

Over 6.6: Bollinger to Ali, FOUR, drives in the air but into the gap wide of mid off. Good over for the visitors, PAK 0/27 (Hafeez 21, Ali 6)

flippping heck 12th man your SMSes are doing a good job...keep that phone out for today will ya

Over 7.3: Geeves to Hafeez, FOUR, slaps a lovely drive away through extra cover

Pak 32-0 after 8 overs

Hafeez 26* from 27 balls

Ali 6* from 21 balls

Hafeez has started well BUT Ali is doing a Salman Butt - needs to get a move on, wasting valuable deliveries

qoah, easy on the drinks, u sound a little.... :akhtar

Over 10.4: McKay to Ali, no run, OUT, the new bowler does the trick with Ali trapped LBW. Looking to flick the ball through square, taken on the pads and Umpire Reiffel with no hesitation. PAK 1/39

Azhar Ali is out...i think we should be celebrating that more than the aussies!

oye hoy hoy Ali out LBW
Pak 39-1 after 10.4 overs
qoah, easy on the drinks, u sound a little.... :akhtar
you can feel the Irish, Australian, Punjabi accent.

So this Ghummon guy finally arrives I have been hearing about , He'd better perform well if he wants to see the next day in this this team

perhaps this pitch isnt as conducive to batting as the lst one was?

a boost to currnet partnership SR with a wide in last over
Partnership 2 runs, 12 balls, run rate 1.00

The runs have dried up it seems - Hafeez should be kicking on from here, Ghumon will understandably be a tad nervous

Maiden over?? Come on Pakistan!
And they will. If there is a good deal they might take two. Let's see

Well No deal and Ghumman out

Over 13.1: Geeves to Ghumman, no run, OUT, gone, drives straight to Bailey at short cover. He'd just moved there at the end of the last over and Ghumman couldn't have picked him out any better. PAK 2/41

I hope Ghumman gets a chance in the last two games as well. Latif failed a lot more times.

Ghani walks in and glides one off the first ball for a single. this lad is in some form

aye haye, unlucky...hope he gets another game

There was a plan and Now things will start happening. Geeves has been replaced by Henriques
Power Play 2 (bowling team): Pakistan A scored just 8 runs for the loss of 2 wickets
Is this a new record? :108:

Over 15.5: Henriques to Ghani, FOUR, winds up and clubs the ball away through wide mid on for a boundary

Over 15.5: Henriques to Ghani, FOUR, winds up and clubs the ball away through wide mid on for a boundar

Drinks: Pakistan A 2/49 (Hafeez 34, Ghani 5) after winning the toss and batting. A good start for Australia this morning, but conditions really are great for batting so they'll have to keep working

pani ka waqfa.
Pakistan has to do something about dangerous McKay - 3 overs for 4 runs.
