Two people already answered your question. What don't you understand about the fact that all three of Pakistan, Ireland and WIndies could finish level on points?

He came in to bat in the 48th over against Pakistan.

Against SA, he came in at 4 and hit the bowlers all over the park getting an 80 off 60 balls.

He did not get to bat against UAE.

In this match, he got a wrong decision.

How exactly did he fail in the tournament??

Its funny how Pakistan's race against Ireland and WI has changed the dynamics. :yk
 
Last recognised pair of raina and captain dhoni can take india home but if a wicket falls now then it's almost curtains for india.

Waqar was 145 maximium on a great day post 1996 after his back injury whereas akram never registered very high on the speed guns even at his peak. However, wasim's pace was deceptive. He never really lost too much of pace. His maximium was alwys 143 ish.
Un the 1999 world cup, the 2nd quickest bwler for pak was sbdul razzaq and nt the the w's, with the former being clocked st 146 kph.

Srinath was the second quickest at 149 behind shoaib.
He was not always quick as he had the mentality of a medium pacer by but he had the ability to bowl quick as u csn see in the videos above
Let go off this stereotype. It was prasad who was slow.
U r just doing urself a disservice by being rigid and stereotypical
 
Bring on Taylor and roach, this is 10-15 over match, needs wickets, over management is not to be worried about

Hes used as a floater cos we actually need big hitter down the order , ideally , but luckily Rahane is doing a good job . Hes been getting these imprortant 50s in the middle overs .
if we played him as an opener consistently , he should avg higher than both Dhawan and Rohit . Openers are where you hide your weakest links . Thats exatly what we have done with Rohit

Actually on second thoughts.. Screw the run rate ! Pakistan better win it's last two matches handsomely otherwise we don't deserve going throught to quarterfinals.

Right now i would love seeing INDIA LOSE !

how much will your batting score on such pitches ?
 
West Indies can't be counted out! Surprised with their bowling! If they had no team-selection politics, they would be a team to reckon (where is Sarwan, Rampaul, Narine, etc?)
 
if india looses this match and ireland beats zimbawe then bye bye pakistan hahaha

This is a good workout game for india, whether win a lose. The only proper practice they got so far in the tournament.

You don't need lot of score on these wickets. Even in 1992 Pakistan beat AUS (favorite for that WC) in WACA, Bowled them out on 160 in a must win game.

Bowling wickets do help our cause, that is our strength. With Misbah we can score 200-220 on any wicket, his game plan is stuck with max of 260, wicket does not matter.

Indian batting will really struggle in GABBA and WACA, they don't have technique to play on these pitches. Even in test they collapse in day 4 or 5 in GABBA and lost test.

Adialade is there kind of wicket.

BTW: this is first time India is playing in evening. There is big difference in AUS batting under lights, ball zips more, pace of the wicket is faster.

Both matches against PAK and SA games would have being lot closer if they bowl first. They get very lucky to win important tosses. They will be tested, don't get too over confident.

That would be great, and Pakistan beat SA and Ireland. Then everyone has 8 points and India can finish 4th :msd
 
Not supporting india, but they should win, as it helps our team. So basically rooting for Pakistan: Go india Go!
 
what happens if india loses ....... and Ireland win against Zim. we will be in a tough situation against ireland.
