One was in Australia when Kohli led side folded for 36 all out with Shami retiring hurt.

This one is at home in the heart of Bengaluru after winning the toss.

India bounced back well after 36.

Let's see how they bounce back after 46.

But for now, 46 seems hugely embarrassing when you consider that India won the toss, and it's their home ground.

This one today, since it came at home. But I'll wait till the series ends.

It is bad only if you lose that test series.

36 all-out was the greatest comeback by any team in history of the game.

46 all-out doesn't need a great comeback because India were heavy favourites in this series. If we lose the series, it is a humiliation. If we draw, it is still a poor outcome but if we win the series, that's a good one with one bad day taken as abberation.

Even if we win this series, which I am sure we will, this will still be an embarassment. Winning a home series for a team like India against Williamson less NZ side is not a big deal TBH.

More embarrassment when Pakistan lost 2 Test series at home against Sri Lanka (when they were minnows), and 1 Test series at home against Zimbabwe in the 90's when the Pakistan team boasted of such a herculian team comprising of a couple of wicket stealing thieves?

36 was not that bad as India came back strongly in the series. if they can't come back here than 46 will be the worst

We still get trolled for that 36 all out in social media mostly by Pak and BD fans. So it was a big deal actually. There is nothing to come back here. India will definitely win this series as they have not lost a series in home since 2012. Heck, they may even save or win this test match too ..we are that good at home. However, getting out at 46 at home after winning the toss is ultimate beizzati.

Nah that 36 was as hopeless as it gets..

It was even more painful because we were in a strong position in that Test and everything came crashing down in one session. The thought of an "inevitable 4-0" made that even more painful..

Here, it's just an off day and will most likely sti win the series comfortably.

36 was worst for that time.. But, it always give us hope to not lose hope 👍🏻 that 36 is inspiring us even today 👍🏻 we are hopeful to win the series after any set back

I don't think that's much of a deal to be 'trolled" by fans of low tier teams.

That series win is that much sweeter because of that 36 .

46 since it's at home against a weaker side
But these conditions are far outside the norm here and India will likely take the series 2-1

Indians are hurt it is so clear by reading posts in this thread. Hahahah
It's bonus for Pakistan fans. Pakistan is doing well against England and India has embarrassed themselves yet again. Lol

Indian is brilliant team but weird how they throw up these midget scores from time to time.

If anything, 36 all out is a badge of honor for India. Because it led to India scripting one of the greatest come form behind test series victories in recent memory.

Not so sure about 46 all out at home against a New Zealand side that just received a shellacking from Sri Lanka.

Henry and O'Rourke just destroyed the India batting line up. 46 all out, and on the same pitch NZ have cross 100 with the loss of 1 wicket.

India has a habit of playing on flat and spinning tracks, and tend to make such scores on such tracks.

How will India recover from this? We know they once recovered from 36 all out to win a series in Australia.

There both worse hahah 46 all out at home with all the money and having ICC in their pockets this type of results should not be happening hahahah

Surprisingly, no one has spot the obvious. Individually both teams lack in different depts where one team is getting bowled for 36 and 46 runs while another needs experienced players to support them.

By banding them both together, wouldnt the team look better? Im sure sandeep could really help these guys

Aye, still that was USA, freaking USA! and this is NZ, recent World Test Champions and perennial WC finalists.

Tbf, it was a T20 and the pitch was terrible.

It took India 18 overs just to chase down 100 odd vs the USA.

I like how all the indian posters have went underground all of a sudden.

Ran away as soon as the wickets started to fell

Indians will take 36 all out every single time because winning test series happened in Aus in the same series.

With this one, India can win series but they win series at home anyway.

46 all out is certainly worse.

46 a.o. definitely.. it is the worst, after 36 a.o. we won the series in one of the greatest comebacks... this is worse.. we were supposed to whitewash them yet we are getting humiliated

Shameful stuff village teams would score more.. because of the rain on the previous day they couldn’t doctor the pitch enough.

Doctor the pitch? This is test cricket.. you are supposed to make the pitch suited to you else you would have seen dustbowls in england and dead flat tracks in Aus (one did until 2014 after which they stopped because teams were able to nearly chase recoed scores)

in most situations, this would be funny but honestly this has been such an embarassing performance, no wonder most people aren't here. Literally giving me 2nd hand embarassment.... utterly pathethic batting

36 all out conditions were not this bad. This ball was whopping around. This was a brutal examination that Indian batsmen failed. jaiswal was the only one who did the best he could. India has been shot out in the first session many times like that in India. Some they got away. Some they couldn't. This one is tough as India is far too behind.

It’s on record Dhoni use to tell curators to produce rank turners from day 1.. until the Calcutta curator told him to do one.

Bumrah and Siraj being wicketless here in 17 overs combined is more surprising to me than india's 46 all out.

not winning a home series in the last 4 years
not winning a home test since god know when

india has had one bad moment and we are jumping. They will probably bounce back and still win

The bowling was more superlative in the 36 all out. For all the pitch was offering here Rohit Sarafraz and K L threw their wicket away.

36 all out was fine. Went on to win the series in a place where most fans won't ever seen their teams in their lifetime.

Absolute honour to watch that team do the unthinkable.

This is worse at least for now.

India's captain Rohit Sharma Post-Day 2 of 1st Test against New Zealand said:

"You can say that because we were bowled out for 46. It looks like it (we kept playing shots and threw it away). But on these wickets, the seamers get a lot of help."

"You have to make your game plan as a batting team. We have played on such wickets a lot of times and we have found success on such pitches a lot of times. Every batter has a different plan. Each batter walked into bat with a plan to tackle the bowlers."

"Every body knew how the pitch was and what was happening. But, sometimes, in trying to do something, you don't execute your plans well. Today, it was a bad day for us. We have played a lot of such matches in the past. It was a challenge."

If I am not wrong, if Pakistan wins this test match against England...India's qualification is almost guaranteed. This is assuming we win last 2 tests vs NZ.

Don't worry we will try our best to help you guys.

pakistan doing well ? lol ...its only begun to do well as aast ditch effort as goras still are weak against spin . we have beaten almost all teams goras included home and away barring the mental block seam swing pitch in wtc finals. we were finalists both time remember?

we aint as hurt as you guys who havent won anything over last 1000 days. or is it more than that ? we have won enough to laugh over what happened today but its you guys who r so hurt and like little children , love the fact ur neighbors goofed up big time one day when u also know we have defeated almost all teams at home for the longest time.

we goofed up today big time. but u guys are masters of goof ups since last 1000 days , so who's really hurt is evident. itne hurt ho key dusra girey to khush horahe ho .

im waiting for the day when slobs like rohit kohli bkl rahul are retired , so that ruturaj eeashwaran vihari etc get their rightful test places.

even if they wud have lasted 30 mins more ...the Sun actually came out when Nz begun to bat. but yhe troika of sharma kohli bkl isnt even fit for odis. Ashwin jaddu har bar nahi bachaenge as conditions were beyond them too

jinke ghar sheeshe ke hon , wo dusre pe patthar fenke to hasi aati h.

Come on brother put the Pakistani issue aside you have to admit 46 all out and then blaming the sun for kiwis batting so well is quite embarrassing.

Indian batting should be heavily ashamed of themselves today.

They will bounce back for sure but this is a hugely embarrassing event.

This is a game , anything can happen lol ! Yeah for sure Ind batted poorly today and Rohit himself accepted that. NZ bowling was top notch . Loved it actually. Evey ball was an event. This was not a case of batters throwing their wickets away, but genuine high quality seam and swing bowling. And great that Ind is put in a pressure zone now. Lets see how Ind responds when their backs are to the wall. Will be exciting !

36 vs a D/N game conditions were alien to team India add to it the clutter of Aussie commies was making it unbearable for Indian batsmen thus far the hassle.

Today was in their own yard at Chinnaswamy , with the passionate commies Shastri Bhogle & SunnyG so the pain in their voice was seismic add to it who is O'Rourke

India now needs a miracle to save this Test from this position... An innings defeat is on the cards.

I have put my neck online in match thread and predicted either India will win this test match or it will be a draw. Seldom I have been wrong...so lets see.

:kp

46. 36--9 was result of impeccable bowling alongwith conditions. Batsmen didn't do too much wrong.

Here they gifted atleast 5 wickets

This was a self-goal and that is more concerning from a captain coach decision making standpoint.

NZ bowlers love cloudy overcast conditions and pretty difficult to defend choosing to bat under those conditions

Maybe India wanted to test themselves in difficult conditions, keeping one eye on the Aus tour. Which is kinda arrogant tbh.

Pick your poison. Arrogance or incompetence

If they have information on how much play is possible and know this will be a draw, yes, its arrogant but a good test for the batsmen and great psychological game on the batsmen

If not, they have work to do.

The 36 allout is most useless troll in cricket history, but as Indian cricket fan i wear that 36 allout as a badge of honor. It was the starting point of our historic win at the Gabba & the 2020-21 series victory in Australia.

These are 🐐 s apparently
Bro bumrah and shami are the most overrated clowns in history. Everything that wears an Indian badge is overrated.

I remember Indian fans from back then and I have seen comments that rate irfan pathan and zaheer Khan as goats and near akram level.

But these goons will deny it as usual and will have amnesia stating they never claimed or haven't seen anyone ever claim it.

Bumrah is a fantastic bowler but he is not the goat that people think he is.

If he was then 2023 wc would not have happened, nor would 2017 ct. New Zealand also has Bumrah's no anytime they play.

The people who put bumrah above waqar are hypocrites, Since they use the er argument but that era argument somehow goes missing whenever you talk about Sachin.

Apprantly waqar bowled in a much easier era where 270 was on par then Bumrah but in that said era Sachin also existed. Like what are you trying to say?

That's why I stopped supporting these bafoons. They bring in patriotism, then feel the need to enforce their bhootas into you with wannabe arguments and want hero worship and attack like vultures as well.

VVS Laxman, Ghambir, Sachin, Bumrah, Kohli, Shami, Ashwin, Jadeja, Dhoni etc all of these are decent players but none of these people are as good as Indian fans have frauded their way into believing by quoting books and all that nonsense.

One surprising thing that never gets mentioned is Sehwag and Dhawan, For some reason I don't see sehwag get talked about alot even though both of these guys are superior to many Indian players like Laxman, Dhoni, Ghambir etc but for some reason aren't as popular.

Sehwag's contribution in 2003 wc final as well as Dhawan's contribution in wc events is somehow overlooked.

All excuses aside, of the God of cricket had actually played sensibly and backed sehwag, Then the final result could have been much much closer,

But narratives exist on how mcgrath turned the God of cricket into a fraud but apprantly sehwag just somehow scored.

Sachin > Sehwag but all these narratives are disgusting, in the same way Indian fans believe Bumrah is some messiah when he's just a good bowler and the world of cricket have seen many dime a dozen better bowlers then him.
