AJ - do you ever stop your nonsense ? some of the stuff you write is what I expect to read at your beloved ICF - not on PP !!

Akmal was out as well - leaving a big gap between bat and pad - that was a bad shot! YK just had bad luck ! can you see the difference.

Very disappointing indeed - from you AJ.

oh am sorry i should applaud the GREAT younis khan shouldnt i?

lets quickly arrange a 5 match odi series v Hong kong so he can gain some form.

Wether i post on ICF, bbc, ACB, WICric, EnG BOARD ETC.. i have same opinion!

its good to see a classical cricket match for once ... where the partnership has to be built slowly ..

Afridi, Razzak and Shoaib M, A would have to SMOKE the LIVING HELL out of england bowlers.

Younas khan and his "dhobi ghaat" shots. I don't know if any of you have seen a dhobi ghaat in Pakistan. The dhobis are swatting dirty laundry away in huge exaggerated movements. Much like YK outside the off stump. His caught behind in the last match was a classic example. That time he seemed to be washing a very heavy duty shalwar kameez. Today he was timidly washing some pantys it seemed.
Sort your life out Younas!
On a separate note: 250 on this wicket and we have a good chance.

u know it isnt always the smartest thing to go all out right away after losing a couple of wickets right away. Runs can be made at anytime however wickets once lost never return
true ..but at this rate it doesnt seem like we will hit the 200 mark..

That one cant argue about !!...its usually the same...but you havent answered my question:

Can you see the difference between bad luck and a bad shot:

1. Kamran Akmals gaping hole
2. YKs inside edge to stumps.

As a senior member of this board, I kind of expect better analysis from you - that King Kong or Hong Kong comment is very old and is something you hear from the guy who serves chai outside the stadium - you need to do better than that.

we need this partnership to last until the 30th over atleast, we should be fine inshallah

Hey i have a question, got any example of Afridi batting on a pitch like this? where ball i s not coming onto the bat?

When Malik is doing just fine at number 3 for a whole year, what was the point of bringing Younis Khan at number 3???

nooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo we didnt need to lose a pole then we must bat 50 overs if we do we will actually get a defnedable score

Yipee...we can call him Youhana again after that inngs!!!

USELESS Yousaf gone too...... Man whats happening here ? All Salmans fault for that silly run out...

pak will be looking at around 250 if these two can stick around, keep in mind inzi said 270 is a good score on this wicket

the moment there is the slightest bit of movement of the pitch, our batsmen get confused. wonder what will happen in england

Moyo could not believe that he can be given out ! Well if you are plumb than you are out !

thats what I am talking about ... 200 will be good in my books .. Malik/Afridi and Arshad should do well ... and if Rana and Shoaib are spot on ... Sami will clean them up with the guidance of Imran khan .... lol

I am not sure if there are any demons in the wicket. We have to give credit to England fielders and their bowlers They are playing very good cricket and now allowing Pakistan to get back into this game. If Pakistan loose this game, it will be a shame for us. Few days ago we scored over 350 and look what we are doing today.

And remeber they are gonna be batting under lights a batsman short and under the pressure of knwouing they have to win

thats when real batsmen are used

eg

Farhat in place of Akmal
Hasan Raza @ 6

Yk played the shot with the bat slanted thats why he got the edge if his bat was staright he would have never gotten that inside edge

I think still we are capable of scoring around 250 runs. I think Younis Khan's selection will be under consideration as he is not doing anything lately.

no demons as such. just some seam movement for the fast bowlers

u really think farhat is the answer to our opening worries

i dont see how u can blame akmal now after he scored 2 centuries in a row in previous games

IS Kabir Ali Christian or Muslim ?

his necklace is the Christian fish symbol .....

its not about demons, the ball is not coming onto the pitch which means you cant hit whcih means Flintoff will not bat well here, others could but will also suffer

This pitch is not easy for batting and will provide help for the the Pakistani bowlers.

blackwell onto bowl. pak need malik and inzi to bat till 40 th over atleats here interms of partnership. Inzi needs to bat thru inns...

I didnt blame AKMAL, where do u see that .. he was beaten by a slow off spinner from a pacer (ala Shoaib has been doing)

but in seaming conditions . .. players that open normally (Farhat, Taufeeq) know they have to take advantage of singles, doubles ...

Farhat may not be the answer .. but A TRUE BATSMEN he is ..

didnt u see Akmal get frustrated b/c his shots were going to the fielders.. thats when he should have looked for singles...

younis should come down the order in case of a batting collapse, he's good at taking singles, rotating strike and playing slowly...#3 isnt his role in odi's...or he can be used as a supersub

Turn for Blackwell right away as expected, Inzi needs to stay till about 40 overs for Pak to post a competitive total.

yup, Malik is the best 3

blackwell getting turn ...

imagine Afridi and company

Arhsad Khan could win the game for us today - in which case Inzi/BW decision to play him is a great idea...

If they knew pitch was gonna turn ... why not Kaneria as SS ?

is he injured

or have they figured out he isnt an ODI bowler ?
