Umar Akmal won't be part of the team, as long as Mickey is there, and that's a good thing IMO, as we should not select tested failures, who failed repeatedly despite given the chances.

If inzi has a shred of decency, he would drop Hafeez, Shinwari & Talat, who proved to be a failure & selfish. That sindhi left hander similar to Ganguly in style, who has first class average in the 50s, way more than Imam, Fakhar or any recent player in this or previous decade, should be given a chance. I like him more than Zeeshan Masood, who should also be in the squad.

And please, for the love of God, I hope Sohaib Maqsood & the likes of Asad Shafiq won't be introduced, again.

While I am open to the idea of Umar Akmal as wicket keeper, I do pretty much fall out of my chair laughing when people claim with a straight face that junior the go to guy facing fast or seaming pitches.

These are actually very reasonable predictions.

Number 1, I'm an advocate for some time. With the new Managing Director taking over having an English background, I expect to see this. Probably a Director of Men's National Teams, whose job it is to set the priorities and coordinate between the National Coaching staffs of Mens, A-Team, U-19's and selection panels. A position that is sorely needed in our set-up. I think having this position has been a net positive for England.

Number 2, Happened this morning.

Number 3, This one i'm most skeptical on. Maybe 1, possibly 2 new faces maximum. I think Arthur and Inzi have most of the team selected in the back of their minds. It would be foolish if they didn't.

Number 4, maybe. We'll see.

Number 5, I think they'll do this out of superstition more than anything. Personally I'd prefer they go to England as early as possible and hold camp there. Get the guys used to conditions.
