Wasim can play instead of Nawaz when you need 4 pacers. Sharjeel still more likely to play a match winning knock than Rizwan. Come at me boi.

Nawaz alone on batting can be slotted in this team so need to switch him with Wasim. The monopoly Rizwan has created leaves us with no option than to persist with him for time being.

Pakistan T20I team going forward

So now we're out of this WC. My question is what should be Pakistan's team for next T20 WC considering it's in W.I

I'd go for the following XI.

1. Fakhar Zaman
2. Abdullah Shafique
3. Kamran Ghulam/Ifthikhar Ahmad
4. Shahdab Khan (c)
5. Azam Khan (wk)
6. M. Nawaz
7. Aamer Jamal
8. M. Waseem/Naseem Shah
9. Shaheen Shah
10. Haris Rauf
11. Abrar Ahmad


After the WC Babar should not be in the team unless he improves himself. Most people think Abdullah is just another accumulator but his brisk start in PSL shows that he has pretty decent power game also he's a fast learner.

Azam Khan is super unfit but we don't have any other option. This tournament & proved that we cannot continue with Rizwan in T20I's. We must check what Azam can do with the bat & maybe being around the team will motivate him to work on his fitness as well.
