Even if that was a poor attack stil an average of 70 even against second string attack is excellent
That's all I got to say. Miandad with an average of 29 against the West Indies isn't half as good as Kohli.
Do you know the attack miadad was up against in the 1980s ?

Yes, I do. An average of 29 suggests he failed big time against the West Indies.
An average of 35 against west indies in west indies is also a big faliure by kohli facing a average attack

Kohli's career is still not over. You can make such claims after his career is over. A champion player performs against the champion teams of his time. Miandad averages 29 against the West Indies. Even in Australia, he averages 38. Nowhere in the league of tier 1 greats.

Failing in countries like current West Indies, srilanka, Zimbabwe, pakistan, Bangladesh doesn't matter if you can dominate teams like Australia, South Africa , England in their own backyard. Even in NZ he's got a century on his first outing.

Ishant Sharma is better than Shoaib Akhtar.
I legit believe he is better in tests than shaoib btw but that's what it sounds like when you say miandad is better than Kohli.

He played well there too. Only recently he flopped. What makes you think he won't smash them again next time lol ?
His peak in those years was way better than miandad or whoever Pakistan have produced.
Remember he also plays all 3 formats. He plays the most number of games.
Can you imagine Pakistani batsmen playing across all formats and still being successful in all 3?
I don't think so. Even in tests alone he is ahead as a Batsman.
Btw I am not even a huge Kohli fan. Infact I don't even like the guy but I got to admit he is an ATG.
I absolutely dislike sachin too. He is a great player though. I think he is vastly overrated in odi's tbh. He is a great test player.

Kohli is better than minadad. He is an all formats star. Miandad can't dominate like him across all formats. Kohli is better than miandad in tests alone as well.
Miandad is not close to Virat at his peak.
I don't like to compare but if you are going to discredit Kohli for being inferior to miandad than I don't mind comparing the two as miandad fared poorly against 2 of the quality teams of his era.

No I do not agree the quality is better back then compared to now. There is no way to know. Neither do you nor I. You cannot compare era's.
Quality of bowling in my personal opinion is far better now but we don't know how well current era players would fare in past era. you just can't teleport players across era's.
What I do know is Kohli is better than miandad in current era and miandad is better than Kohli in his era.
Kohli performed better at his peak comapres to miandad.

He may have been better pre injury but he din't last long.
Actually Ishant has a genuinely valid case to be better than shaoib. If Ishant maintains his current average for another 2 or 3 years he may hit sub 29 average very soon.
Shoaib was poor vs Australia and India.
Shoaib Bhai for all his thugda and daleri was poor against 2 main teams.
I love Shoaib but he crumbled every time he faced a batsman that din't fear his pace.

Nah you just need to stay away from drugs, don’t beat teammates with bats and stay away from party scene to avoid Warts.
And take a small number of close to 300 test wickets to be better then Akhtar.

I'm sure the Indian batsmen could have coped with junaid and hasan ali eventually
It was just their first real game against them where they faltered
It's a shame pakisani bowlers haven't had the chance to bowl in the ipl like sohail tanvir has done
