A sincere question to Indians, what did your government achieve from "Operation Sindoor"?

In a period of relative peace in South Asia, the Indian government tried to up the ante with a completely irresponsible strikes inside Pakistan and that also at a time when they were fully willing to cooperate in the investigation of Pahalgam attack.

By this strike and targeting innocent children and Women inside MOSQUES, India not only eroded her already waning credentials as a secular state. But also exposed it's army's assertion of being a professional force. Furthermore, these attacks further highlighted India's Achilles heel ie Ineptness of its Air force which keep on targeting its own civilians and letting India down. Infact, they keep destroying the fortunes of their well-wishers too be it Russia's Mig-21 or French Dassault's Rafael Jets.

So please mention the takeaways for Indian government or people.

Pakistan were prepared for an attack,

And a response is ready to be launched for the attack beforehand.

But I doubt they would have thought India will go as far as they did with Bahawalpur. Strikes in POK Kashmir most likely they would have expected, and in around the LOC. Bahawalpur is a real shocker.


Now, the response to the attack won’t be appeasement. It will be personal.

If Masood Azhar's family was really killed, this is gonna start a new wave of terrorism in India and this will continue to be a problem for India for years to come.

India has bestowed humiliation upon itself and with it has set back the Indian psyche for another 1000 years. For a country with SupaPuwa aspirations, oh my, India doesn't even have soft power in the region and has managed to isolate itself from its neighbours.

China in the north (squirreling away Indian land), Bangladesh (exiled Indian puppet) in the East, and Pakistan (nuff said) in the West - India has no where to run but the Indian ocean.

If this event took place 10 years ago, the media would be up against Pakistan, not this time, the Media has the spot light on India - and this turn of tide is exactly what Modi's opposition were looking for! The Hindutva propaganda has failed.
 
If, even after this global embarrassment, India chooses to keep Modi in power despite having the democratic means to remove him, then perhaps the world should stop questioning Modi, and start questioning the judgment of those who keep electing him.

This Sindoor name could backfire if/when the real results come out and if India did lose Rafales then there won't be a shortage of Indian movie video clips where the maathe si sindoor is removed after the woman becomes a widwah. Could end up being an own goal.
 
How many terrorists were killed, does not matter. The number of targets, the depth of that esp Bahawalpur in Pakistan proper is the thing.

That we will strike in a big way if there is a terror attack on India by Pakistan back terrorist . Messege is loud and clear .

The name Operation Sindoor is entirely apt. These terrorists brutally killed 26 male tourists after checking their religion to confirm they were Hindus—leaving behind their wives as widows. One woman even begged them to kill her too after her husband was murdered, to which the terrorist chillingly replied: "Modi ko bolo jaake."

In Hindu culture, sindoor symbolizes a married woman. By murdering those men, the terrorists metaphorically and literally snatched that symbol from their wives. In response, Modi launched this mission and named it Operation Sindoor—a powerful message of justice.

7 May – "Modi ne bola"

And perhaps the most striking part: India chose a female Muslim army officer to deliver the press briefing about the strike. That was no coincidence—it was a deliberate statement to the world about India’s pluralistic values and the unity of its diverse people.

It sent a message that international border won't stop any future operation. It also gives us a hope that Pakistan will be foresighted enough to do something about terrorist groups on their own.
 
Till now neither pak army nor terrorists took the responsibility of terrorist actions .Now India made sure both actions have consequences and will deal with uniform approach.once this standard is set, even congress or left woke govt will have issues to abandon this approach .This should have been the consequence of Mumbai attacks. Congress played dumb.

Meanwhile, the local terrorist went in hiding inside India within the masses. In return, to save face, the cowards killed 7-year old children and labelled it revenge.
 
Not much to add on my part, but unless this turns into a full-blown war, nothing of significance has changed. India attacked Balakot within Pakistan in 2019 (which is not even part of AJK), and Indians were cheering how that changed everything. Whatever response Pakistan has, as long as it doesn't lead to full blown war, nothing would have changed. In a few months we will be back to where we were.

These fine speeches are all what they’re good for. They think they are in a Bollywood movie where all their strikes have only hit terrorists and Indian army and India is a country of saints that only has ever killed criminals.

Pakistanis have introspection regarding their country but Indians these last few weeks are completely brainwashed.

How many Pakistanis defended what happened in Pahalgam? None from what I read here, because even now there’s no solid proof it was Pak and almost all of us condemned what happened regardless if Pak was involved or not

Whereas most of the beghairat Indians on here revel in the killing of children and women and during peace time will create threads of Mughal brutality from centuries ago or ask to condemn torture of some random Kargil soldier while failing to do the same for the innocent women and children killed in Pak last few days. @Hitman come out you coward

There also seems to be an inferiority complex, i.e., taking almost too much pressure upon themselves as national duty to demonise Pakistan to feel good about themselves.

From what I understand Operation Sindhoor isn't supoosed to be a one-off strike like in the aftermath of Uri or Pulwama as India gained nothing and Pakistan lost nothing. This operation is not going to be a single strike. Modi had promised the Pak establishment is going to recieve something they wouldn't have dreamt of. But its sad that civiliand lives will be lost in the crossfire. Saw on India Today some time back Indian Navy has struck in parts of Karachi.

PS: by the way saw some reports of a Pak pilot rejecting and landing in Jaiselmer. any further news about that?

India has no strategic advantage over Pakistan. If India is hoping for a long prolong war than India will be loser and it will turn into regional proxy war between China and West.

You brought to my attention a kargil soldier tortured to death as a prisoner of war and I condemned it because it goes against fair treatment of prisoners of war in Islam.

Yet when asked about your take on the women and children killed since day 1 by Indian attacks in the current war, you conveniently ignored it but keep posting Twitter posts about Indians chest thumping their war efforts.

So… you know… wanted to see if you’re going to condemn the unjust killings of your country on our side as well or if it’s just one way traffic.

You can go to the original Pahalgam thread and see the woman and boy with charred burns for your own eyes, even neutral sources are saying at least 20-30 Pakistani civilians have been killed.

But don’t worry, I fully expected you to do this chicken dance where India can never be in the wrong and every ounce of blood India has dropped has always been a criminal and never someone innocent. You are knee deep in your country’s propaganda.

Just don’t ask me to condemn the death of any of your soldiers ever again. Most of them are going straight to hell anyway.

Unfortunately, the pictures have been proved to be fake, as posted by multiple Indian posters in that thread. You guys need to have a bit a of shame. The whole world including your own governemnt and your own people have accepted that the Mumbai attacks were launched from Pakistan, and yet you lot shamelessly still deny it to boost your ego. And here you have the audacity to demand me and my likes to accept something that happened 2 days ago that you guys claim.​

That is your opinion but not a fact. There is no national election for next 4 years and all party supported Gov on this attack.

What it has achieved is India gained significant victory and instilled fear in Pakistan. Now they are aware they cant do terrorism and get away. India will strike back. So they will think twice now sending proxies to kill Indian civilians.

A statement attributed to Azhar, who was arrested in India in 1994 and released after the Air India IC 814 hijack, says that those killed in the strike on JeM headquarters -- Jamia Masjid Subhan Allah in Bahawalpur -- included his elder sister, her husband, a nephew and his wife, a niece, and five children from the extended family.

Dont think previously we have hit them this hard. There was one surgical strike last time after Pulwama, thats all. For the attacks prior to that we didnt even respond, just provided proofs expecting them to act but with no avail. However this time we have given royal thrashing. Destroyed terror hideouts Israel style and also killed Masood's entire family including IC-814 hijacker. Pakistan after this thrashing will think twice to do any form of terrorism in India. Massive win for India.

What World are you living in? Pakistan is breaking records against the Indian aggression - first country to down 4.5 generation fighter jets. First country to take down so many advanced Israeli drones - and this is just defense. Wait till we are on the offensive.

As for terrorism in India. That's your problem and you guys just made it worse by killing the family of one. The same terrorist you let go in the past and now you have FAILED to kill him. Your forces targeted his family without any proof that his outfit was involved in Palagham. Don't you think he will double down to get revenge? Should've finished him off. Don't blame Pakiatan for future failures of your intelligence and forces
