I have picked players who are still potentially match fit or can regain match fitness and currently compete against the best in the business.

My team:

2. Q de Kock
3. Younis Khan
4. Misbah ul Haq
5. AB De Villiers (vice captain)
6. M S Dhoni (captain)
7. Irfan Pathan
8. Harbhajan Singh
9. M Amir
10. L Malinga
11. D Steyn

Do you guys think this XI could do better than England in the ongoing Ashes? Food for thought.

Not sure if Hafeez would be effective in Australia.

I think players like Hashim Amla, Alaistar Cook etc. would be better picks.
