The ninth edition of the Abu Dhabi T10 League kicks off from November 18 to 30, promising fast-paced action and global flair. Four franchises have drafted nine Pakistani players, with a mix of debutants and seasoned campaigners set to light up the tournament.

Following is the list of Pakistan players signed up for the Abu Dhabi T10 League:
  • Usman Tariq and Ali Raza (Deccan Gladiators)
  • Salman Irshad, Mir Hamza (Delhi Bulls)
  • Asif Ali, Haider Ali, Zaman Khan, and Akif Javed (Ajman Titans)
  • Shahnawaz Dahani (Northern Warriors)

I think he was injured and now suddenly he appears fit for t10 useless format..

lol there is still another month to go where it even starts. If he is injured right now, it's likely he will be fit by then if its not a significant injury.

But I am not a fan of our bowlers bowling in these useless leagues. I don't mind it much for the batters. They can use it as an exercise to improve upon their power hitting ability.

I am deeply suspicious of this league. Glad our players can make some money but they need to be on their toes at all times and make sure they are careful who they are meeting.

Harbhajan Singh, Kieron Pollard, Piyush Chawla Among Big Names in Abu Dhabi T10 2025

Cricket's fastest format is back! The 9th edition of the Abu Dhabi T10 is set to be played from November 18 to 30 at the Zayed Cricket Stadium in Abu Dhabi. With a fresh set of teams added to the mix, and featuring cricketing greats including Harbhajan Singh, Andre Russell, Kieron Pollard, Shimron Hetmyer, Piyush Chawla and Faf du Plessis, the tournament would be a treat for cricket fans in and around the region.

All 8 participating franchises have secured their respective squads with a combination of international cricketing stars and exciting young talent which promises an intense battle as the teams gear up to lift the coveted trophy.

The Ajman Titans have made some strong additions to their squad this season, signing India’s World Cup-winning spinner Piyush Chawla. The franchise has also strengthened its batting lineup by bringing in Moeen Ali, Rilee Rossouw, and Alex Hales, adding both experience and firepower to the top order. Moeen Ali is expected to play a key role for the Titans, not only as a hard-hitting batter but also as a crucial option in the spin department. With some proven performers in the ranks, the Ajman Titans look well-prepared for a strong campaign in the tournament.

The Aspin Stallions have added former India spinner Harbhajan Singh to their squad for the upcoming Abu Dhabi T10. His experience and leadership will play a major role in guiding the team through their debut at the competition. With Harbhajan’s spin, Sam Billings’ smart batting, Tymal Mills’ pace, and Andre Fletcher’s explosive hitting, the Stallions have built a formidable team for the upcoming tournament.

The Deccan Gladiators boast one of the most powerful batting line-ups in the Abu Dhabi T10, featuring Nicholas Pooran, Andre Russell, and Marcus Stoinis — all known for their big-hitting ability. In addition, David Wiese’s all-round experience and his ability to contribute with both bat and ball provides the team with great balance and depth, making the Gladiators one of the most lethal sides in the tournament.

The Delhi Bulls are coming in with a skilled squad for the Abu Dhabi T10, led by two of the most seasoned all-rounders in the shorter format — Kieron Pollard and Sunil Narine. Their unmatched experience and match-winning abilities make them key players for the team. Adding more power, the Bulls have big guns like Tim David, Rovman Powell, and Phil Salt, making for one of the most potent batting line-ups to watch out for in the upcoming tournament.

The Northern Warriors also have an impressive lineup with Shimron Hetmyer, Trent Boult, Tabraiz Shamsi, and Dinesh Chandimal. With Hetmyer’s power-hitting, Boult’s pace and swing, Shamsi’s spin skills, and Chandimal’s calm presence in the middle order, the Warriors certainly seem like a fierce contender.

New entrants Quetta Qavalry have built a well-rounded squad with stars like Liam Livingstone, Jason Holder, and Imran Tahir in their ranks. Livingstone’s explosive batting, Holder’s all-round abilities, and Tahir’s wicket-taking spin make Quetta Qavalry a solid team to reckon with.

The Royal Champs have come into the contest with a strong lineup featuring experienced players like Jason Roy, Angelo Mathews, Shakib Al Hasan, and Chris Jordan. With Roy’s aggressive batting at the top, Mathews’ stability, Shakib’s all-round skills, and Jordan’s expertise with the ball, the team looks ready to take on the stiff competition.

Vista Riders have fortified their squad by adding India’s World Cup-winning pacer S. Sreesanth, whose experience and skill will be key to leading the bowling attack. In the batting department, the team will rely on Faf du Plessis and Matthew Wade to provide quick runs and set the tone at the top. With a versatile team, the Riders seem to have their eyes set on the trophy.

Shaji Ul Mulk, Chairman, Mulk Holdings and T10 Global Sports, said, “The franchises have shown their hand with some smart picks and bold moves at the draft. From surprise selections to strategic additions, it’s clear the teams are gearing up for a thrilling edition of the 2025 Abu Dhabi T10. Cricket’s fastest format continues to grow each year, and it’s always been our mission to deliver the most entertaining version of the game to fans around the world. This journey wouldn’t be possible without the unwavering support of His Excellency Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, Minister of Tolerance and Coexistence and Chairman of the Emirates Cricket Board and our partners at the Department of Culture & Tourism - Abu Dhabi, Abu Dhabi Sports Council, and Abu Dhabi Cricket & Sports Hub. With the squads now locked in, I wish all 8 teams the very best for what’s shaping up to be an action-packed season.”

Who is watching and how are these garbage leagues sustaining ?

There are no fans in the grounds for most of the matches so gate receipts cannot be a major source of revenue.

No big broadcaster has picked them up so it's also hard to imagine that TV rights deal will help it break even.

They have 8 franchises & a big player roster (with many active players) so expenses cannot be downplayed. Franchises are even using names like Deccan, Dehli, & Quetta which are teams in other bigger leagues.

Don't have any proof to make any wild claims but the business model just does not look sustainable in any way, shape, or form.

Abu Dhabi, 19 November 2025: Action continued at the 2025 Abu Dhabi T10 as the Northern Warriors, looking to bounce back from their opening defeat, pulled off a narrow four-run win over newcomers Aspen Stallions, at the Zayed Cricket Stadium. The Warriors posted 114/1, led by Johnson Charles’ composed knock of 55* (34). The Stallions’ chase began with intent through Rahmanullah Gurbaz and Avishka Fernando, but tight spells from Taskin Ahmed and a superb final over from Shahnawaz Dahani ensured the Warriors held their nerve.

The Warriors made a quiet start, with Hazratullah Zazai 8 (7) and Charles 55* (34) putting up just 11 runs before Zazai fell at the end of the second over to Binura Fernando. Charles took charge immediately after, launching Zohair for a six and two fours in the third over to lift the Warriors to 32/1. Colin Munro 38* (21) joined in with a cleanly struck six in the following over. Harbhajan Singh managed to slow things briefly in the fifth, but Munro’s boundary kept the Warriors moving steadily to 65/1 after six overs.

Charles brought up his half-century in 29 balls, while Munro continued rotating strike and finding regular boundaries. The Stallions did well to squeeze in dot balls, but couldn’t break the stand. A quiet last over meant the Warriors couldn’t fully capitalise, though Munro’s late boundary brought up an excellent 102-run partnership off 55 balls, closing the innings at 114/1.

Chasing 115, Andre Fletcher 13 (6) set the tone with two early boundaries off Trent Boult, with Gurbaz 29 (11) joining the assault to take 21 off the first over. Taskin struck back by removing Fletcher, but Avishka Fernando 33 (20) seamlessly kept the tempo, striking a boundary off Taskin and a six off Boult. Gurbaz continued clearing the ropes as the Stallions raced to 48/1 after three overs.

Gurbaz attempted another big one but mistimed it, falling to a high catch taken by Thisara Perera, off Odean Smith. Dahani then tightened the screws with a miserly over, and Shamsi added to the pressure by dismissing Du Plooy 5 (5) and giving away just five runs, leaving the Stallions at 70/3 after six overs.

With 34 needed off the last three overs, Saif Hassan 15 (11) struck a six and a four to bring the chase back to life, but Taskin once again swung momentum, getting Fernando caught at the boundary. Sam Billings 12* (6) chipped in with two timely boundaries to reduce the equation to just eight required off the final over.

Dahani, entrusted with the last over, delivered brilliantly, conceding only two runs before removing Hassan at the boundary and then bowling Mills the very next ball. With five needed off the last delivery, Billings couldn’t get hold of Dahani’s pinpoint ball, sealing a tense, down-to-the-wire win for the Warriors.

Gladiators register a 6-run win to open campaign against UAE Bulls

The first innings of the second match yesterday, between reigning champions Deccan Gladiators and the UAE Bulls, delivered its own share of fireworks. Tom Kohler-Cadmore’s explosive half-century (78* off 29), studded with seven sixes and six fours, powered the Gladiators to a mammoth 141/2.

After the early dismissal of skipper Nicholas Pooran (10 off 9) in the third over, Kohler-Cadmore and David Wiese ignited the innings with an electric 98-run stand off just 39 deliveries. The sixth and seventh overs alone produced 38 runs, with Kohler-Cadmore taking down Salman Irshad for three fours and a six before launching three sixes off Sunil Narine in the following over.

Meanwhile, Wiese raced to 35 off 17 balls before falling to Salman Irshad in the penultimate over, but not before the pair had already set up a daunting total for the Bulls to chase. UAE’s Junaid Siddique was the lone spark with the ball conceding only 14 runs in his two overs.

The Bulls’ run-chase found an early impetus through Phil Salt (18 off 5) who struck three consecutive sixes off Akeal Hosein before he was dismissed by Hossein on the next ball. Rovman Powell kept the heat on with a nine ball knock of 22 runs. Tim David rushed to a 26-ball fifty, with nine fours and two sixes, Tim David took down Lahiru Kumar for 19 runs in the seventh over.

Tim David could only manage 14 runs of 21 needed in the last over as the Bulls finished at 135/5.
