I said the previous pitch was a 300 one, and no one believed me, and I said the 1st pitch was 150 par and no one believed me.

250 is a good score on this pitch, issue however is a weak bowling unit this time around.

Definitely something wrong with the pitch when babar too is struggling
 
They have made Gulabdin look like Anderson on a green mamba.

If Babar and Riz are struggling like this, I can't imagine much will change when Saud walks in. Maybe a promotion for Ifti is needed
 
This pitch is ironically worse then the 1st odi, repeat of the 1st odi since Afghans can't play anyone on this pitch except faheem.

Well am afraid this pitch is the problem here.

I know it's fashionable to go after Babar and Riz but this pitch will not be easy to bat on for Afghanistan

Yup it definitely looks so. That said Babar is letting it play on his mind a bit too much. He can easily try to maneuver the ball through gaps for singles.

You think these guys are aiming for 250? Looking at their "deadbat everything" approach I think they want 200/2. The pitch is terrible, however minus Fakhar(who btw played a horrible shot) each of them has been terrible too. No attempt to take singles, just pure blockathon. I understand Imam & Rizwan, since this is their typical style of playing, but Babar who's naturally good at taking singles/doubles is also playing a pure test classic!

That's exactly why one of Iftikhar or M Haris always have to be in the side. The only 2 in the squad with actual power hitting capabilities. If they rested Ifti, Haris should have been here.

Brother, this pitch is 10x worse then the 2nd odiz we get to 200 and game over for Afghanistan.

Afghanistan ain't even making 100 on this pitch.

Problem is Ifti deadbeats most balls then goes for a big one and often gets caught. He is hopeless player. Haris atleast has shots and will not waste many balls if he fails, but Agha can do that role easily.

Ifti's problem is his inconsistency. He clicks once in a while

I would put that thought on reserve until Afgans come to bat. You don't have Naseem to choke them & Rauf to blow them away. You have a trundler & an extremely inconsistent low on confidence spinner today to contain 20 overs. Provided Rizbar manage 200, either Shaheen or Shadab needs to pull a miracle.
 
Seriously whats the point of these 2 batting in a dead rubber, and that even against Afghanistan. They should play and give batting time to Saud, Agha and Haris.

We are at a point where its just so pathetic the way they treat younger/junior players. I mean Rizwan at no 4?

I forgot faheem is playing in this match, Rip.

But waseem will do wonders here due to inconsistent bounce in this pitch and waseem being good at bounce.

What a selfish innings by Babar and Rizwan!!! Talk about attacking cricket and 113 in 31 overs. Other teams will score at least 160-170 by now.
