In all seriousness, some of the comments are clearly ranging from disbelief to delusion. If Ahmed Shehzad is the best opening partner to Azhar Ali, that PAkistan can serve at the moment, then surely something is not right at grass root levels.

At this moment, he is no where near Rahane IMO. He may have to work really hard on this game and hopefully he can turn it around. Steve Smith is the greatest example to any batsman going around, i suppose.

went back and read the whole thing actually. fun times.

don't think there is a comeback for shehzad anytime soon. people have demons of self-doubt in their head, he has pious dedicated worshipers who continue to tell him that he's the best the world has ever seen.

Rahane is on another level. If only he sorts out his play against spin (surprisingly), he'll definitely be in the reckoning to be the best Test batsman in the world. Mediocre in ODIs though.
