Of course he's lost some pace. I would've been amazed if he hadn't. Most bowlers bowl slower than their usual pace after an injury.

I feel Arshad needs a few tweaks to his action. Akif seems the more polished bowler at the moment.

Switched to PSL yesterday for few minutes. It was when Ramiz made that "Facepage book" comment.
Akif was bowling and I think his bowling action is really smooth. Action which will not hurt his body much.
Like Saj, I too find it similar to Nehra. In a nice way.

Surely not like nehra. Nehra never had a jump whereas aqif has a very high jump by modern standards

As soon as he came under some pressure he started bowling leg side and full tosses. Not the stuff to inspire much confidence.

I think he was the least offensive bowler today. Had even a couple of bowlers bowled better MS might have been able to save the game. But it was a horrible bowling effort all round.

He looked ok until that last over, but in my opinion, the game was last there. A good one, and it still looks really difficult for Karachi. But it was horrible, couldn't hit either line or length. Two waist high full tosses and a leg side gimme included.

He was exceptional in PP. Shame they didn't use him more then. He is very poor at death bowling. Even Haider Ali hit him 3 sixes in BPL.

He is not mentally sharp nor accurate enough for international cricket, don’t think he will last longer with in Pak side, but not a bad back up option to have.
