What's new

An exclusive message for people who doubted Babar Azam and his side...

Not a great year for him.

-atrocious Asia cup tournament
-Lost a home T20 series against England
-horrendous world T20
-ousted by Karachi Kings
-on the brink of losing a home Test series again this time against England

Lost a Test series at home to Australia too.

Why do we the little people only get a picture of Babar and are told to shut up when Babar does well which these days seems to be 10% of the time but on those other 90% of the days, the ones telling us to shut up disappear? Why can’t we ask Babar if he can’t take the heat get out of the kitchen?

What was more premature? This thread or PCB hosting a reception to celebrate the team’s failures?

The fact is all this humiliation will be forgotten once the PSL starts. All the zeros will become heroes again. It will be time to party!

Growing up in the late 80s and 90s, I and other Pakistanis used to feel proud of our home dominance. In those times teams like England and Australia would only dream of winning a series or even a Test in Pakistan.

Well-deserved Player of the Match

I have to admit, I may regret bumping thread if Babar doesn't score well in the next game!

It's surprising to see someone as uncharismatic as Babar becoming such a big brand in Pakistan. I guess it's good that someone can become really popular solely due to their performances on the field.

Babar is arguably more popular now in Pakistan than Afridi used to be.

He was a prodigy.

Even Tendulkar had no charisma aswell, but these guys got known cause of the way they played.
