Any fans of The Blacklist?

Anyone on PP who watches the blacklist? Haven't seen many discuss on it in the TV series thread so thought I would ask is there anyone who watches.

Season 5 is set to premiere later in the year, anyone who is upto date with the series would like to know what your thoughts are on the upcoming season.

Was gonna start watching it since James Spader is a fantastic actor, got through first 5 mins of episode 1 but Wi-Fi went off and forgot it about it since.

Just seems like a riverdale or 13 reasons why type of show. Just decent (although rigerdale is mediocre), but not really high quality. I don't waste time on shows that aren't very high quality

The Sopranos, Breaking Bad, Game of Thrones, The Wire, The Shield etc. 13 reasons why is like The Avengers. Just a decent popcorn movie you'd watch once because you're bored. The Wire is like The Godfather. The epitome of quality. Unfortunately, shows take up a long time so I don't waste my time with average ones, whereas I have seen a lot of terrible movies. Pretentious as this may sound, people these days will watch any show as long as it has some kind of drama in it (ie Riverdale or Grey's anatomy) because they don't know real quality. To each their own I guess. Their loss

James Spader's monotonous tone and the storyline almost made it look like a SOAP to me after first 6 episodes.

Watched every single episode from the Season 1 Pilot up until the very latest (Season 4). The first season is pretty decent and get's you hooked on due to a semi original plotline but then it just completely falls apart

I am only willing to complete this season as I am 4 seasons in now

James Spader is the only saving grace of the show. Brilliant actor. But the show is downright unwatchable at times with a severe lack of likable characters.

I thought the finale was poor. The reason for the presidential plot was very childish in the grand scheme of things and certainly did not need to involve the Attorney General, Homeland Security, Secret Service etc. If there were genuine political reasons for the plot - then it would have been good but I have to say I thought it was dissapointing...

The very last scene was good and hope we can see more in the 7th season

I agree after the build up, I expected a lot more substance to come out of this episode. The conclusion of this episode saved it from it being a complete a flop.
