Pakistan's best ODI record, historically, has been in Pakistan and in the UAE. Their worst has been in NZ and Australia. But after PAK/UAE, the place where they have played their best cricket is actually India as seen in this CI filter

Not only that. PAK have been the 2nd best visiting side in India in history, slightly behind OZ in ODIs

Would these factors help Pakistan at the World Cup considering how well Pakistan have done in India in the past?

The past is the past. Those players who created those records are long gone.

For a long time Pakistanis had a feeling of superiority over India. Even the Indian media/fans fawned over our team and treated them as alpha males or demi gods.

Now things are very much different. Pakistan will be confronted by a different India. The players will be in awe of the glitz and glamour on the way to/from hotels. The Indian skyscrapers will intimidate them.

Then in the stadium itself they will be confronted by 100,000+ highly educated potential google ceos. On the field they will be facing 11 rockstars. Off the field they will be humbled by the might of the BCCI and the fact that one year of IPL has more monetary value than 10 of the PSL.

Pakistan has visited India before yes, but this is the first time they will be visiting Bharat.

I'm not sure the boys can cope with the pressure.

Clinging to vacuous records and coincidence is all this Pakistan team has left.

May be the most disastrous tournament in living memory, that's taking in to account 2007 and 2019.

Bowlers who can't take wickets, batters playing timeless test and the usually comical fielding.

Oof

WOW what a post to wake up to in the morning, cringe of the highest level.

Pakistan use to play matches in India regularly in the past but now they don't play many matches in India for years. Also, India has so many grounds with different conditions.

Nikhil bhai has been more über optimistic than around 90% of our fans for the past couple of months. Not sure if its genuine or more like what the Aussies did with our team today

Boyses have been playing a lot in Dubai (till recently adopted home) for the past few years so don't think in comparison the Indian glitz and glamour, skyscrapers waghera are going to intimidate them much.
