Most people who claim to be religious believe in miracles which they claim were performed by agents of God. Are such stories true or false? If you think they are true, what makes you think they are true? If you think they are false what makes you think they are false?

I myself only accept two acts of God ie creation and revelation and that is it. In my view all stories about miracles are false and are lies which people attribute to God and his messengers due to their ignorance.

Why people invented such stories? What possible purpose could it serve for them? Which people could have invented such stories?

Only the common sense with the combination of deeper thinking is required to find the truth. Miracles are there for those who choose not to utilize the brain blessed by ALLAH. If people choose to deny the miracles despite in plain clearer sight to witness, the remaining resort would be appearance of ALLAH which would defeat the whole point of the brain which the intelligent mankind is blessed with and also sets them apart from the rest of creations [animals,...etc].

No CREATOR, No Creations. Not the rocket science.

No! Most people experience no miracles in life unless they ponder over their own existence. It is up to the observer to decide if they do or do not believe in miracles we read about like the parting of the Red Sea by Ibrahim(as). Either you believe in such things or you don't.

Creator himself is a Creation without creator, that simple rule is violated by God himself ;-)

The Supreme is not a magician to impress others with tricks. The proof that He exists is everywhere, one just has to see.

Isn't revelation by definition a miracle too?

What do you think about child birth? Two individuals creating new life, is that any short of a miracle? Miracle is not something that is a statistical rarity, but something that has divine intervention..and a child birth is a direct involvement of God's mercy. Supreme God is involved in our daily life, we just need to open our hearts and see.

It seems the number of miracles dropped significantly ever since cameras were invented.

CREATOR cannot be creation. CREATOR means CREATE, not as creation. A CREATE WHO CREATES ITSELF is still A CREATOR.

The basic formula is still in tact. Even in mathematical, we have ONE.
