Pakistan was WI’s greatest adversary in the 80s.

However in recent times Pak had a psychological edge over WI on many occasions but the playing field has been leveled again.

Both have self sabotaging cricket boards working against the players, both have players that sometimes are more interested in what goes on outside the cricket field such as in the past Chris Gayle and women and Pakistani players being more interested in the venue city’s food scene than whether the pitch is good to bowl or bat first

But can they inspire each other to usurp the current Big 3 establishment and truly dominate at least 2/3 formats?

We lost our on a rivalry after India stopped playing us, so our boys went out and manufactured new rivalries against West Indies, Bangladesh and USA.

Pak, BD, Afg and WI should play a 4 nation T20 and ODI cups. I feel we get to see some classics with so many mercurial teams. PCB should make it happen.
