Not very angry with the team but I am not personally satisfied, we should have beaten this Australian team 2-0. This test match showed that the Australians benefited massively in the previous test because the pitch conditions had massively flattened by Day 4 and Day 5 with nothing in it for the spinners which made it easy for the Australian batsmen to see out Abbas and comfortably block the spinners. But that test match was lost because of poor captaincy by Sarfaraz in the first two sessions of Day 5 and the non-performance of Wahab Riaz.
But its good Sarfaraz attacked in the second test with his field placings. Overall I feel it was a missed opportunity for a more convincing victory against a horrible Australian team who shockingly did not prepare for reverse swing at all for this tour and seemed too focused on the Pakistani spin attack.
But Pakistan deserves full credit for the manner in which they came back from 57 for 5 in the first session where the pitch was offering substantial turn, pace and bounce to Nathan Lyon.
