I think arsenal should go for Diego Simeone

Getting buck Rodgers will be a massive disaster imo for arsenal

Bellerin has to be the most overhyped young player in the PL. Honestly he's a one season wonder, hasn't done anything since 15/16.

Arsenal released their Half Year results today

Very good cash accrued on the balance sheet despite lack of Champions League

Respect to the Financial Managers

Wenger should be sacked. The man is incredibly stubborn refusing the quit when everyone knows his time is over. Need a new man with new idea's at the helm. Even Wenger's recent signings are not doing that brilliantly. A fresh start for all involved is what's required here.

The fact that Wenger is not getting the sack is the problem.
Which big club in Europ would have tolerated the last 5-6 years of Wenger’s management?
Simple answer is no one.

Wenger is not the problem, the majority owners of the club are the problem and this makes it a very big problem. Unless the Owners decide to change their policy and start putting in some real money then no manager will be successful at Arsenal.

If Wenger loved Arsenal as he claims then would resign. He is to stubborn and keeps coming with the same excuses every season. Okay, the owners are stingy then again no one has the spending power of Man City or even Chelsea. If he were to resign the owners would be forced to take a different direction. He's refusing to accept that he's past his sell by date.

All these Arsenal Fan TV types are simply spoilt entitled imbeciles

Since the days of Arsenal and Man United being dominant we've had Chelsea and Man City come in and spend billions which has changed the market

Wenger as a former economist is obviously sensible to understand this is a short term market distortion

It's very much like the sub-prime bubble and GFC, at some point the owners of Man City/Chelsea will realise you can't just throw money at it

Arsenal should stick with Wenger and maintain long term strategy. The noisy nouveau riche neighbours will disappear as quickly as they came.

Chelsea have been around for 13-14 years and only recently they have started cutting spending but even then outspending Arsenal

Man City have a young team and 3-4 quality players coming out of the academy so they are good for the next decade

10 years is not short term in football terms by any means. What is this long term strategy?

ok so you are speaking from a financial aspect..
Most fans care about trophies.
Besides Arsenal do have the finances to compete with the rest in the market

I agree with you about Wenger. My point is the Owners didn’t not care about winning.
For them It’s only about Prime London property and income from the club.

Cue another meltdown and more fans talking about reaching a tipping point with Wenger, who has managed to outlast even Robert Mugabe.

He seems to be hanging onto power like these African dictators.

Did Arsene fall asleep or something? Arsenal made no substitutions tonight - the last time this happened in a PL match for them was in 2013. They even have a game on Sunday which makes the decision all the more bizarre. Oh well at least the club’s latest financial figures are positive.

Although I am Liverpool crazy it's incredible that Wenger doesn't resign after being spanked week after week. They have no chance of finishing in the top four yet he keeps coming up with the same excuses. Liverpool fans often moan over our owners often for good reason but they are still better then what Arsenal have. Seems that neither the manager nor the owners care about the club who are in permanent meltdown unless the rot is stopped. They need to be aiming much higher then Brendan Rodgers who is only doing well due to the lack of competition in Scotland.

I feel bad for Wenger

He needs a break... Sad it may have to end like this

Can't believe Arsenal won't Wenger after all this humiliation. He'll probably get a new contract if they win the Europa League thereby securing a place in next seasons Champions League:))

Another away defeat.

Was actually a great performance given 7 first team members were missing and Mhki was returning from injury.

I expeteded to be humiliated, but now I’m sad we didn’t draw or even nick it

Last hurrah for Wenger at the Emirates

Arsenal 1-0 Burnley (so far)
