People are continuing to push the panic button. But it’s calm now after the storm now. Interim is an interim. Not a disaster. Season is a write off already, it’s all about finding the right manger now.
Man United finally made the right call. Can breathe a sigh of relief.
Amorim was a 30 something percent win rate manager setting new lows in man united history. Bottled a Europa league final against a so injury ridden spurs that even ange had no choice but play defensive. Beaten by Grimsby town. Plays a weird formation that makes no sense. Can not adapt in the slightest. Defeatist mentality, constantly calling his team terrible. And worst of all I’m confident I’m sure he quickly realised he didn’t even want to be there. I have never seen such a poor manger at a big club.
The worst outcome was building a specialist squad around a manger who is inept. Which likely would have happened if Amorim was kept. Have to cut your losses. This manager didn’t deserve any backing. You have to prove yourself to get backing.
