So sad

And apparently no hospital nearby

Edhi ambulances are going there now from Karachi and the city is 200km away from this place

Another Sectarian attack.

Results of hate mongering and teachings of the doctrines which are actually non-existent in Islam.

Sad situation.

More violence and suffering in Baluchistan. There seems to be no end to the bloodshed there. Combine this with the rising number of abducted persons in parts of the Baluchistan, and we have a very unpleasant situation developing.

The security and much vaunted military have once again failed to keep the public safe.

Will anyone resign? Will any steps be taken to address the root causes of violence in Baluchistan? We shall see but it certainly seems unlikely. One recalls the recent attack in Mohmand Agency - barely any coverage was provided across mainstream Pakistani media covering this attack and its aftermath.

Pakistan needs to find solutions to these issues very soon.

National Action Plan needs to be implemented in letter and spirit.

State, state machinery & state institutes must distance itself from banned outfits and their shaddow outfits.

Zarb e Azb is needed against Sectarian outfits who are in forefronts of definning MUSLIMS, preach hate, preach killing, plan killings & execute killings.

Balochistan needs development. Baloch people need stat doses of human development. They are way behind rest of Pakistan. Once they are given their due rights than risings against the state will lessen and abductions will go down aswell.

Accountability and Corruption is a huge issue in Pakistan. The money worth Billions of Rupees which should have been spent on education, health & infrastructure of Balochistan got eaten by the Sardar's with no accountability. Result ? People suffer and than they react.

What happened in the case of Finance Secretary Balochistan Aslam Raisani ?

Inna Lillahi Wa Inna Illahi Rajiyoon

Edhi is no more with us but his service is still delivering and helping millions even in places where govt don't exist. Where is Baluchistan govt? I guess they were busy preparing for CPEC launch tomorrow because badshah salamat is coming feetaah kaatne ke liay.

First an attack on lawyers in hospital thn attack on a police academy hostel and now this attack on dergah all within a few months...I also heard there is an emergency situation in Quetta and people are not sending their kids to school and colleges because of a threat from last 1 week.

Update : At least 45 dead, over 100 injured in Khuzdar’s Shah Noorani shrine explosion
http://tribune.com.pk/story/1228939/12-dead-dozens-injured-hubs-shah-noorani-shrine-explosion/

At least 45 people, including women and children, were killed and over 100 sustained injuries in an explosion that struck Dargah Shah Noorani in Khuzdar district Saturday evening.

Rescue teams have finally reached the blast site after facing enormous hardships and started shifting the deceased and injured to hospitals in Karachi and other nearby health centres in Balochistan.

The target of the attack was a widely visited shrine where faithfuls were busy in performing dhamaal – a trance-like dance. The rough terrain site, a famous sufi worship place, is situated in Khuzdar district, some 250km away from Karachi.

Rescue teams and law enforcers were facing difficulty in reaching the site as Dargah Shah Noorani is located in a remote area of the volatile province.

“Our focus is on rescue services at the moment. We can’t be certain about the exact number of casualties and the nature of attack that took place today,”
Balochistan Home Minister Sarfaraz Bugti said while talking to Express News.

According to police sources, it was a suicide attack carried out by a 14-year-old boy. No group has claimed responsibility for the attack yet.

PM orders speedy rescue operation

Expressing grief over the loss of innocent lives, Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif condemned the attack at Dargah Shah Noorani and directed the concerned authorities to bring the perpetrators to the task immediately.

He also ordered speedy rescue services to save the lives of those injured in the attack.

COAS orders maximum assistance for blast victims

Gen Raheel Sharif has ordered troops of Pakistan Army to provide the victims of the blast with maximum assistance for evacuation and medical treatment, a statement issued by the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) said.

Troops and medical teams have been dispatched towards the blast site, it also said, adding that six medical teams, 150 soldiers and 65 ambulances were about to reach the bombing site.

CM Sindh sends 50 ambulances to Khuzdar; emergency declared in Civil Hospital and JPMC

Chief Minister Sindh Murad Ali Shah has ordered the concerned authorities to send 50 ambulances for rescue services in Khuzdar.

A statement issued from CM House said that he expressed profound grief over the loss of lives at Shah Noorani and ordered Commissioner Karachi to send ambulances, medicines and other required things.

While emergency has been imposed in Civil Hospital and Jinnah Post Graduate Medical Centre (JPMC) in Karachi, the chief minister also directed IG Sindh Police AD Khowaja to beef up security at Shah Abdul Latif Bhittai shrine as Urs celebration will start there from Monday.

Imran calls for helicopter service

Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chairman Imran Khan also lamented the loss of lives in the attack and demanded helicopter service to help rescuers save the victims of the blast.

Pakistan Awami Tehreek chairperson Tahirul Qadri also condemned the attack and held the rulers responsible for the tragic incident.

So sad. And my parents are planning on taking me to Pakistan in December. I don't want to risk my life by going to that country. This barbarism has to stop by hook or crook. May the victims RIP and the injured recover.

Thanks brother. Ameen.

Pakistan has the potential to be a beautiful place but unfortunately the people there are just corrupt and won't ever let Pakistan reach it's true potential.

Inna lillahi wa inna ilaihi rajioon :(

Apparently ISIS is behind the attacks, there is almost no presence of ISIS in Pakistan and yet they have allegedly carried out lethal attacks and that too in Balochistan?

They can call themselves whatever, they're still the same people.

More then those responsible I blame the government for not doing anything to tackle this problem.

What happened in the case of Finance Secretary Balochistan Aslam Raisani ?

Balochistan Chief Minister (CM) Nawab Sanaullah Zehri addressing the ceremony said, "Due to the government's hectic efforts, the active participation of our security forces and all-out cooperation fo the people of Balochistan, we have succeeded in curbing anti-state elements, and the law and order situation has improved."

http://www.dawn.com/news/1296098

Barely a day after this horrific episode, the likes of Sanaullah Zehri, Nawaz Sharif and Raheel Sharif are acting as if nothing has happened. How can one ignore the pain and suffering of the families who have suffered and continue with the CPEC celebrations?

The situation in Baluchistan gives me great sorrow and I can't see any of the steps TalentSpotterPk mentioned being put into action.
