Australia (276/7) defeat Pakistan (157) by 119 runs to win the Super League QF of ICC U19 World Cup

Miller looked clueless at the start and he made up for it now batting at 56 in 63 balls.. this is how you build an innings… Aussies know their cricket.. even their youngsters

Leaving out a 6'8 bowler and a left arm wrist spin bowler in an u19 world cup seems foolish

Allthough Australia are only 2 wickets down they have not got away with the runs. If Pakistan bowl well here, they can keep them below 260 even.
 
Brought back pacers too quickly. Why does he not bowl Shezad and underbowl Ahmed always.
 
Pakistan batting seems very weak, and Im sure australia will field and bowl well, I hope I am wrong, but i think anything past 220, and Pakistan wont be able to chase it down.

In the warm up match, Australia u19s made 268 against India u19s and India chased it down in 48th over with only 1 wicket down. (269/1).
 
Pakistan should try to restirct them to less than 245 if possible, i still feel like Australia will win, but the lower the score, the better chance it gives you.
 
If Zeeshan did not bowl and spinners completed their overs Pakistan would have been in very good position.

He was out, but i think they might have felt the WK gloves knocked the bails off, was not the case at all though hopefully We can get some karma on our side, because that was clearly out. Doesnt mean Pakistan would win the game, but if he is out, he should be given out

There is a reason Pakistani fans claim many decisions go against Pakistan. This was clearly out.
 
2 run out decision clearly going against Pakistan. Pak wd hv been in a good position that they gone in their favor.
 
Zeeshan continues to bowl all kind of filth full tosses, shrt length, wides and going for plenty, yet the captain continues to bowl him.
 
Zeeshan has not been good at all. Its over Boys. 245 runs by Aussie with 3 overs left. More than enough runs by them at this point with more to come. This is bad by Pakistan. Yes they got unlucky with the run out decision, but also Pak was not good today, they did turn things around a bit for sure. But Batting is weak for Pak

Pakistan team minus Zeeshan were pretty good. Zeeshan factor has made the final score difficult. Blame lies entirely on Qasim captaincy. As I wrote Zeeshan gets hit for another 6, all batter loved him.
 
Australia have lost their way a little bit here. Should've been an easy 290 score from the position they were. However, even this total should be more than enough. Very strange decision to bowl first on a batting paradise.
 
Awais Ali bowled only 8 overs today .. no way shd hv Zeeshan been brought back when Awais had just bowled a maiden an over before .. poor poor captaincy from Qasim Akram .. has been asylum through out the tournament..
 
Pakistan can win the whole world cup and it wouldn't matter one bit. This crop of U-19 players can be easily binned. Not even 1 player from this batch will make it big on the international stage.

Past Pakistan teams had at least a couple of players who were standouts. Shaheen last time round, Hammad Azam a few tournaments back looked absolutely commanding. This time, every single one is just average.

Shehzad looks good and Qasim Akram as all rounder.
 
Poor captaincy by Qasim.
Why is Ahmad only bowling 5 overs.
Zameen got hammered but still bowled majority of his overs.
 
This will be very tough for Pakistan.

Surprised that Shehzad wasn't given a chance with the ball today.
 
Australia should have scored a maximum of 250. Those two run outs will hurt Pakistan I feel
 
Dewald Brevis and Tom Prest - only two outstanding talents on display in this tournament I feel. Maybe that Indian bowler who could power-hit (Hangargekar I think) can make it to the Indian side but other than that, pretty disappointing tournament. Hopefully the class of 2024 are much better.
 
The match is now in favour of Australia unless someone plays a very long inni g from Pakistan and is supported well by others.
