Siraj is behaving like Virat but Virat agression is original and natural and he has back with his performance.
 
Siraj bowled really well. He was unlucky in first session. Credit where due.
 
Siraj is garbage, India better not stick with him for the rest of the series.
Akashdeep and Prasidh should come in next test.

I would blame Indian Batsmen here! Cricket is all about going with the flow and growing with confidence! After such a huge margin victory in the last match, after winning the toss in this match and batting first, India should have aimed to bat strongly and post 400+ This would have sent strong signal to Australia and they would have been under immense pressure, I am sure they would have not batted like this after that!

This is how you sieze the opportunity... Instead India helped Australia to come back into the match (series actually) by batting poorly... Now India will be under immense pressure batting in the 3rd innings going into twilight... This is how the chain grows!

I don't know what team management thought differently than what all we felt! We were all 100% sure about Rohit Sharma coming back and damaging both team composition and captaincy! (That is dual damage!) Rohit Sharma was never a test batsman and always a depressing captain (not suitable for tests! For tests you need aggressive captain!) Only at one point of time (perhaps in home tests) he looked good for only a certain period of time and he was back to his usual worst! It is baffling how team mangement can't see this and they overthink and look everything from commercial/political/seniority mindset!

This is why India will never ever reach the level of ATG WI/Australia sides! (Though they have the capability for that!)
 
Have to admit Head is more consistent in bashing India than Pant bashing India... Pant should learn to be more consistent and composed, show aggression calculatively...
 
We will lose 4 wickets today and match will finish tomorrow before the dinner.
Lets take some rest and prepare for next match.
 
Hope INdia scores enough so that Bumrah can atleast get one wicket in the second innings
 
At one moment I was thinking about 200+ lead but Indian bowlers did good job.

First get rid of rohit, kohli and older guys like ashwin. Them worry about the rest. First pick on merit.

Also siraj has the right attitude. Nothing wrong with sledging head.

He dropped head at 78 btw. Head should have Been out ages baxk. As usual gets lucky.

But great batting from the atg head. India needs to work a plan vs him like they did in 2018 and 2021.

Perth was seaming at extreme levels on Day 1. Yesterday, it was average and still got bowled out for 180.

Just because someone was wrong once before doesn't mean they're wrong again
