Australia is likely to go SCG Test with 2-1 scoreline .

Rain is only for short period after that no chance for rain in next couple of days.

Australia is still in driver's seat. THey are just one wicket away from taking a massive lead. THey will come out all guns blazing. INdia will implode under pressure in the 2nd innings. INdia will lose MCG domination under ROhit :(

First time will be a nice surprise for bumrah.all bowlers will be ready for there after.Dumb rohit didn't even thought of trying washi as he is a t20 bowler to stop that kind of antics.Stephen Fleming may have killed all his theatrics in 2 overs with those bowling resources.

Dropping Kohli and Rohit means end of their careers at this point.

I doubt Coach and selectors will humiliate them this way. They will get a send off may be next home series against Srilanka or West Indies where these two can score some decent runs to remember.

They will be just asked to retire gracefully after the tour ends.

Indian players don't know their expiry date. That's the main issue.
 
From here on, with each passing over, the chances of India drawing this will keep increasing...

Still 39 overs left in the day. Anything can happen. Australia will be hoping for some luck after the rain break. India will be hoping to eat away as many overs as they can. Brilliant!!
 
Australia should complain about pitches though.

It is tiring for both bowling attacks. Indian batsman need really flat pitches to draw test match, this is one of those and we may get another flat pitch at Sydney.

Brisbane was also flat mostly.

Most of these guys are 20-25, so I am assuming they follow what’s the trend. Clean shaven look seems something out of a formal job.

This pitch is flat now. Aussies are out of gas. India handles the pressure moments better. Australia has a mental block against India at home.

They still have gas. Starc was hitting 141 k. But incredible discipline shown by the two youngsters. Sundar did the same last time at the famous Gabba test. You need clutch players to play against Australia. Against NZ, Sundar batted at no.9 or 10. he was running out of partners every time.
 
Australian fast bowlers threw everything at these two. Short ball, leg theory, Yorkers, full ball with keeper standing up. Leg side trap. They showed remarkable composure. With that kind of strategy both Kohli and Rohti would have succumbed easily. Credit to these two play with cool, calm heads.

New Zealand whitewashed us home and away and beat us in the WTC final. Australia huff and puff to manage a series draw at best.
 
Despite such a fantastic partnership, we are way behind in this game. We are just escaping our way from a loss.

It was a case of India losing it than NZ beating us. India totally lost the plot with toss decisions, captaincy, fielding, performance with bat from the top order. Every single time Indian top order depended on lower order. For once lower order failed We lost badly.
 
After rain breaks bowl is coming bit quicker plus Reddy concentration is not same anymore.

Not a good sign for us

I am based in Canada.

I googled Melbourne weather and it showed rain for Saturday.

Anyway, no rain would be great as I want to see Aussies go up 2-1. I don't want to see India escape with a draw.

Australia lead is 145 and they can add 275+ just in 60-65 overs to give the target around 400 runs.

More than 210 overs still left

No we are not, if we get to 370 and make the lead less than 100, the match could go anywhere.

It doesn't work that way. Not many fans would say NZ are better than Australia.

NZ also got whitewashed in Sri Lanka and drew in BD. NZ are an inconsistent team.

Aussies are still #1. I expect them to win the WTC again.

Australia stretegy to dry up the runs . 9 over just 13 runs in this session so far .

Cummins very well know that they can bundled out India in one over if they get one opening .

The selection of Mitchell Marsh is an utterly defensive move by Australia. They were better off playing an extra specialist bowler in his place.

Not sure it is that bad. Couple of deliveries from Boland jagged back massively. Call it an exceptional batting.

only that young fella who is 6'8 but he is too raw.
 
boland is by far the best bowler of australia
its a farce and a myth that cummins and starc are on his level. starc is a tulla bowler in red ball. pink ball bully thats it.
