Australia (474 & 234) hands India (369 & 155) an 184-run defeat in the 4th Test to take a 2-1 lead in the 5-match series

need 160 more i would say atleast.
last few wickets aus scored 170. i dont see why india cant. but india have low iq dumb players. thats the only issue

reddy is smart however. reddi has that telugu pissipela power.
 
If India get to within <150 they become favourites. Aussies get runs slowly and time running out

whereas dumb fatso rohit just goes by the book. no thinking skills or strategy.

That's what I too thought.he can score big on pancakes .Its absolutely brainless rohit and gambhir terrific combo decided otherwise. It simply says they don't know strength and weakness of any player or they are utter shameless to throw any teammate under the bus for themselves.

Exactly i was about to mention that.cummins kept a 3rd man and 3rd slip for Indian batsmen.dumb captain removed 3rd slip and kept it at 3rd man for Sam as soon as he launched bumrah.who the hell will do that inside 5/10 overs in a test match on a sena pitch.rogit is something else.
 
I cannot help but think that India is in a similar place they were around 2012.

Back then, they began a transition with Dravid, Laxman, SRT and bunch of others hanging up. Now they are at a transition point again. Ashwin gone, Sharma, Kohli, Jadeja have to and will go. Departure imminent.

India need a bunch of new talent in. KL Rahul should keep his opening spot for now. They need 3,4,5 batters. Gill can be one of them. Depending on where he wants to bat. Should not give up on him yet. Pant is not a 5. He should bat at 6.

They also need a good pacer to backup Bumrah. Spin should be ok, with Kuldeep. I think.

But Indian fans need to be ready for some mediocrity in the near future before things get better.
 
Good to see some fight back from Jadeja and Reddy.

Pant played a brainless shot when he failed to execute the same shot in the previous over. That shot was not needed at all. He has good enough defense and shots in his armor to score runs with regular cricketing shots. You don't play those shots unless he is batting with No.10 and 11.

Jadeja also got out LBW in a similar way playing backfoot against spinners. Looks like he does not do any homework and work on his strategy to counter spinners like Lyon. Very poor from him.

India could've been 250/4 if not for brain fades. The so called experienced bozos contribute nothing anyways. India deserve to lose this series.

I am hoping for Nitish to score some runs and establish himself in the squad. He is too good to bat that low down the order. He is much better than the likes of Kohli and Rohit. Also, Reddy can bowl 20 overs every test. Crucial in giving rest to main bowlers. He is also a very good fielder.

He is talented. I follow SRH in IPL and Reddy was exceptional last season. Absolutely no fear when he executes his shots.

He would do good to score a 50 here. First step is to establish himself in the team. A 50 will definitely help him for the coming tours.

India needs better bowlers to help out Bumrah. We cannot win in Aus with one bowler alone.
 
pant has been very disappointing this series. but i blame tulla rohit kohli and siraj for his ineptness. having said that he cant bat like this anymore. its getting silly.
 
cummins got good support from boland and lyon.

uesles siraj did nothing for bumrah.

I have no faith in Prasidh. He bowls short all the time and he will go for plenty against Aus who are good pullers.

Rana should get another chance next match. Siraj needs a break.
 
Kumar has been impressive with the bat , he can bat higher if given opportunity , a solid batting all rounder he can be.

siraj was utter crap this series. he stat padded. thats why i dont rate stat padders and hence stats can be misleading

thats why both waqar and wasim are below bumrah.
 
whenever australia or england tour SA, they would prepare flatter pitches. but when asian teams tour they will prepare pitches with variable bounce and tamper the pitches.

lol. atleast aus prepare decent pithes.

even though bumrah is the goat asian bowler of all time and above waqar and wasim, he needs to improve stamina. i expect him to be able to bowl 20 overs without compromising on pace. he gets rested enough.

More than Kohli, jaiswal wicket was important for india.

Kohli was batting beautifully ( leaving the ball nicely) with jaiswal but once that run out happened all the concentrations break

Boland wicket to wicket bowling will do the trick for Australia
 
and please dont ever ever compare rohit to kohli. kohli is much better. but yes kohli sucks for us too. both should go.
