Nice to see sheharyar Ghani

Ok, we're just about ready to go now. Shaun Tait has the ball at the Albion Park end and he's bowling to Mohammad Hafeez, batting with him is Azhar Ali.

Over 0.2: Tait to Hafeez, SIX, FREE HIT, Wow!! Hafeez on fire as he picks the ball up with a flick of the wrists and lifts it easily over long leg!!
# 2009-07-10 09:02
Over 0.1: Tait to Hafeez, (no ball) two runs, clipped away through midwicket for a couple more.
# 2009-07-10 09:01
Over 0.1: Tait to Hafeez, FOUR, couple of slips in place as the first ball is whipped away nicely off the pads and it's gone down to the long leg boundary!

Over 0.3: Tait to Hafeez, FOUR, and four more, on the legs and clipped through square leg. Well, something for Tait to think about now. 17 runs off 3 balls...

yaar yeh kya gand hai

I thought Channel 9 had extensive coverage

2nd Over: Doug Bollinger to take the new ball at the Crosby Rd end.

Over 1.1: Bollinger to Hafeez, no run, OUT, drives hard but straight to Henriques at mid off. Fielder didn't move, took the catch at eye level and the end of a worldwind knock from the captain. PAK 1/19

Over 1.4: Bollinger to Latif, no run, OUT, gone, straight through him! Bollinger strikes again, quick ball that looked like taking middle and off. PAK 2/23

latif sucks big time

Over 1.5: Bollinger to Ghani, no run, short ball surprises Ghani and he's a bit slow to move his head. The ball just kisses the top of the helmet through to Paine.

Over 2.3: Tait to Ghani, no run, APPEAL, hit on the pad looking to drive and Umpire Lock turns down the LBW shout.

Over 3.1: Bollinger to Ghani, no run, back in the crease and defends. Ghani is a tall left-handed batsmen by the way.

Over 4.3: Tait to Ali, no run, OUT, prods forward to defend and gets an edge through to Paine. Just seemed to poke at that really, took the edge and a bit of trouble now for the visitors. PAK 3/28

Over 4.6: Tait to Iqbal, no run, left outside off stump and that's a wicket maiden.

tait and bollinger seem a handful for our youngsters..maybe seniors would struggle..it'll be a good education for them

Tait is a handful for any batsman in the limited overs format.

Bollinger is also showing some very good form. Would not be out of the question for these 2 to be opening the bowling for Australia in an ODI game actually.

Bhanja junior and future star stringing some good runs together.

Ghani hits Portuguese Aussie for a six!

These two need to get a move on now. Ghani seems to be slowing down.

Isn't it really disturbing that the two guys who have had or are most likely to be selected for Pakistani team, Hafeez (been selected and failed numerous times) and Latif whose name is pushed forward every time a squad is being announced are the two most worthless players in the squad?

While guys like Ghani and Ghumman are not even considered good enough to play a test match for the A team.

So much wasted talent!

bollinger back...ghumman needs a chance..so sad ghani didnt play a 4 day game

ghani has a 49 strike rate in domestic first class so he should have played in the 4 day games

Over 25.4: Krejza to Ghani, FOUR, sweeps and sweeps very well along the ground past backward square leg to bring up his 50!

Chota Bhanja is picking up the pace. Is he really a good batsman? Have seem some half decent scores under his name in the test matches.

True that. I guess Bhanja Jr.'s innings was too good to be true.

Nevertheless, a very good innings. His brother ought to learn something from him. :bhanja

Over 31.1: Krejza to Ghani, SIX, down the pitch for a step before dropping a knee and swinging the ball miles in the air and over the rope at deep midwicket!

Over 31.3: Krejza to Umar Akmal, no run, attempts a 'Kevin Pietersen' paddle sweep and nearly wears it in the head.

# 2009-07-10 11:18
Over 31.5: Krejza to Umar Akmal, FOUR, cuts hard again past the fielder at backward point and another boundary.
# 2009-07-10 11:18
Over 31.4: Krejza to Umar Akmal, FOUR, back in the crease and cuts it away hard through backward point.

Over 31.6: Krejza to Umar Akmal, no run, attempts another paddle and this one does hit him, Akmal is fine though. PAK 3/168 (Ghani 68, Akmal 13).

premeditated like kp lol

Krejza getting tonked again, why do Aussies even bother playing a spinner? Just get the best 5 bowlers in the side.

Over 32.1: Tait to Ghani, FOUR, starts with a short ball and it's dispatched away through midwicket with the flat bat.

This isn't half bad.. Ghani is picking up the pace now.

Ghani seems like a good player of short bowling, just hit Tait over mid wicket.

Over 32.4: Tait to Ghani, FOUR, full ball hammered away down the ground through mid on for another boundary.

#
Over 32.5: Tait to Ghani, FOUR, bit of width and Ghani throws the bat at it to get enough for the ball to fly down to the third man rope.

tait taken to cleaners by ghani

PCB should abduct Ghani from Australia and drop him over Salman Butt's head in Lanka.

Ghani was only batting slowly earlier in his innings because he and Fahad were doing a repair job after losing 3 quick wickets.

I've heard he's a big hitter and he's showing it after reaching his fifty

Also show's that he's got a good head on his shoulders.

35th Over: The ball has been changed and here's left-arm spinner Jon Holland for the first time, replacing Tait.

We are screeeewed.

Over 35.3: Henriques to Ghani, FOUR, winds up and clobbers the ball away through wide mid on.

Remember, every slow left armer and his dog troubles our international team, it has no effect on our A & B teams.
