Australia bowled out for 89 as Pakistan seal 66-run victory in first T20I

Congratulations Pakistan, excellent comeback after a poor finish with the bat.

This match is a bore now, time to switch over to watch the greatest sporting team Liverpool FC.:

Really hate it when Sarfraz start screaming at his players. He needs to calm down. He is lucky he doesn't have many senior players like other captains have had so needs to lead with some example.

Shadab has bowled pathetic this match. Seems like he is not even trying. 6 wickets girgayi hain so kia tention wala typical pakistani attitude

Australia's lowest T20 score is 79 - we are still on track to set a new record here inshallah :faheem

This Coulter-Nile guy can bat, he was poor with the ball today but going good with bat

Why on earth does Rambo have to ask the opposition captain to literally praise the opposition bowling?!?!?!

I feel cringy. I don't know if he likes to feel satisfaction. Now Rambo will go on his YT channel to praise our bowling :salute

Didn't somebody just say the other day that T2O WC is the only thing missing from the Aussie cupboard and it's apparently easy?

Putting Bobby's innings in perspective, turns out it was a great knock. Back to the top for him after this series perhaps?

I was furious at half time not getting anywhere near what we should have after the good start. Hafeez and Babar were going strong, we should have got 200. Our famed bowling line up made short work of the Aussies. They had no answer to our spin and great line and length of the pacers. Even Imad contributed positively for a change:salute

Mamoon asalamualaikum rarahmatullahi wabarakatuhu

W. Salam, a good win against a weak team for these conditions. Mediocre spinners and and an explosive lineup that does not know how to bat in these conditions.

A T20 series with India or even Bangladesh in the UAE will be a repeat of the Asia Cup. Afghanistan will also take us to the last over again, so my advice would be to keep the celebrations in check.

Wonderful performance with the ball, work in progress with batting - but played like champions that they are - Well done Pakistan.

I would lay off the severe criticism of the Aussies till the series has actually finished. They have enough quality in their line-up to come back and smash us for a 200+ score in the second T20I. I know you're excited, but let's tone it down a bit until we have actually won the series.

I am actually not criticizing Australian batsmen. These pitches are not conductive for power hitting, but if they get it right, especially someone like Finch, they can easily smash us.

A spin attack of Imad and Shadab along with Faheem bowling 4 overs every innings is quite poor.

Imad killed off the game in the first over, and he usually has the impact on teams who haven’t seen much of his bowling.

Why should Pakistan torture themselves by continuing to play in the UAE if the pitches aren't conducive to power hitting?

It was a near perfect performance in bowling however the batting needs a lot of over hauling. We are too dependent on our bowling as always and the trend is continuing with no end it seems.
Btw, what did Umer Amin do to be benched yet again, he was shaping up pretty well in the last couple of series and we have dropped him judt when he was finding his groove for a guy who's 38 and won't be around till the next t20. This is plain stupid.

Considering all things, the UAE is the only feasible venue for hosting matches as long as we are not able to play in Pakistan. Other options are not realistic due to varying reasons.

Losing by 66 runs while chasing a target of 156 is truly embarrassing. Never thought Australia will play like this. :inti
