Australia comfortably defeat Pakistan by 8 wickets in first ODI at Sharjah

The game is not lost yet but selection of yasir shah in ODIs tells the IQ level of Inzi ans rest of useless teletubbies. Once Finch is gone, the game will be even.
 
why hasn't mohammad asghar ever been considered? he has a fantastic record in all formats
 
The most embarrassing thing is that Marsh and Finch were out of form and now we have got them back into form with 4 games left :facepalm:
 
Amir has 3 wickets in the last 15 months where he has played over 11 games. Beyond me why we keep selecting him his pace is slower than Faheem who plays as an all rounder.

The batting selection for this series was fine but the bowling picks sucked.

Amir and Yasir should not be playing one day cricket.

Aussies have just beaten India in India. Of course they are going to p!ss all over one of the weaker 50 over teams in world cricket
 
Australia are beating us black and blue in uae without Smith,Warner,Starc,and Hazelwood:facepalm:

They have some unreal options for the WC.
 
Amir is going to be on the plane to England no matter what. However, he shouldn't be played in the UAE since he lacks the skills and motivation to do well there. Junaid and Shaheen in for Faheem and Amir for the next game and our bowling should improve a lot.

Unlike India, at least Pakistan isn't playing half of its regulars.

Well at least we probably know that for sure now. Faheem, Hasan, Shaheen, Imad and now Shadab have locked down a spot. It's between Abbas, Hasnain, Junaid and Shinwari for the final 2 bowling spots.
 
Australia at full strength are better than Pakistan at full strength. Go through their line up and you will see. Maxwell is better than all of our batters and I haven’t even mentioned Warner . Zampa is better than Imad and Shadab. Starc at his best is better than all our bowlers. Heck Cummins is as well.

Worrying times ahead of the WC.

Finch getting into form is the final piece for Australia. Won’t be surprised if he drops down the order to accommodate Warner.
 
Yasir getting the treatment he deserves. Infact it is inzi who deserves some treatment for selecting him.

Lol all these years Australia played Shaun Marsh in tests when he is showing he is a decent ODI player.

Today, he has Captained WA to a Shield victory at new WACA against Queensland with a match winning 105 in 2nd innings, batting at 4; bowled few overs as well. I think, Aussies are allowing him time to get into form - he'll be in WC squad, might be Vice Captain as well.

It's a B team.

The results of this series are irrelevant. This is an audition for the few remaining World Cup places.

So far none of the bowlers today are showing they deserve selection ahead of the regulars like Hasan Ali or Shaheen Afridi.

He is a very good ODI player. Would add a lot to the side. I thought he would have played some more ODIs if he was going to go to the World Cup.
