Very well batted by Finch

Showed the value of running hard and hitting the odd boundary

I'm impressed !!!

Finch has given Aussies something to defend.

Even so i fancy england to win this.

This is about par considering the ground size and conditions, but Australia don't have a good spinner in their ranks

Watson and O'Keefe will be imp with their cutters, MJ should bowl a lot of cutters as well

Even Tait and Lee will need to vary their pace here a fair bit!

No, I would say attack with pace with the new ball, if they get a couple of wickets it'll be very good for Australia and after the restriction try and strangle them

This will be a good game tbh because the boundaries are very big, only straight boundaries are small, and lets face it, Tait and Lee don't get hit straight

Australia started like millionaires going at 10 an over in the powerplays.....But the match was literally spunout of their hands by the spinner duel of yardy and swann, who shared 4 wickets between them. A sensible yet entertaining half century by Finch may ve just given Aussies something to bowl at!!! But this confidentEnglish team are well on their way to an easy victory!!! Hope they screw up a bit to make the match a bit interesting!!!! :)

True that they don't get hit straight as your saying the boundaries are big so it'll be a bit tough but pace off the ball will be the key here as the pace of Tait and Lee will easily carry the ball over the fence!

I'm backing Australia here

I think they can win it, England will struggle to hit boundaries, but Morgan is the key

Hussein saying M.Hussey should've been in the side and rightly so, he'd have been perfect here, would have run England ragged here !!!

But I guess, they are using this as shortlisting players for the W.C

I'd take Finch personally, strikes it cleanly and very good runner between the wickets

We have plenty of players capable of being inventive and finding the gaps.

I was thinking 120 at one point, which would have been easier than going to the loo in the morning. 150 could be rough though.

Tait only got speed but now swing the way shoib have... thats why shoaib is more thretneing even if he bowls 90 mph compare to tait's 95

Bell is far too good to be exposed to 90mph bowlers in the powerplays. I know he's playing well, but he could easily get out. Should have kicked out Luke Wright (who did not even look like looking like bowling again), with Lumb at 1, Bell at 4, Collingwood at 5 and Morgan at 6. Three early wickets and it's practically impossible for a team of all-rounders to win. Does my head in.

Its not swing, Tait also gets good outswing,

Shoaib's action is much more effective

Another great drive

Tait at 92 everyball after the first one

11 runs of 1 over

Tait's slower ball is Praveen Kumar's stock ball :)))

Lee, 88 mph first up, drilled to mid off for no run

5 men in the ring on the off side

LOL, its ridiculous

Commentators saying this series is a bowl-off between Lee and Tait for the out-and-out quickie slot for the world cup !!!

Lloyd upping Zaheer Khan

I'd bet Davies prefers Lee, Tait and Akhtar to Zaheer Khan, a real artist from India

I repeat. WHAT IS BELL DOING FACING THE FIRST BALL. Openers should be expendable hitters in T20, it's a proven tactic that England exploited with Lumb and Kieswetter.

I must say, this is a very good start for Australia

The job was to keep the runs down in the PP and they've done it

The real test will be of course, the older balls and the cutters/spinners

Bell on strike to the free hit

He'll be loving it !!!

About time Tait got called for a no-ball. He kept overstepping in the first T20 and was never punished. Hugely overrated bowler.

Perfect Yorker

22-0 after 3

Good start for Australia, they'll take it

If they can concede about 45-50 in the first 6, they'll take it, should be a cracking game then

does anyone else find the chatting between the comms and the players on the field really lame as well?

Defended to one of the 5345234 men on the cover ring

ah, miscued hook, falls safe.

would love to see Pinga get a wicket here.

O'Keefe gets a rollicking for daydreaming on the boundary :))

:four Davies

I'm still backing Australia, England not quite off to a flier

:wide

He bowls to the left
He bowl to the riiiiiiight
That Mitchell Johnson
His bowling is ****e

Bumble thinks he's got the yips.
