Play should be starting shortly. 3 results possible:

- OZ take 5 wickets in 90 overs to win
- England score 253 runs in 90 overs at 2.8 per over to win
- England bat out 90 overs and score less than 253 to draw

You'd have to say the last two are unlikely, but stranger things have happened. Will the OZ win the Ashes or can England pull off a heroic rearguard/win?

Prior to score a ton and take the match to the last session? Anyone?

England have a real chance here.. 100 More runs between Prior and Stokes and then little cameos from Bresnan and Swann. They have plenty of overs. They should stick to the pitch and use all of them.

South Africa chased down 414 against Aussies at Perth, I never expected them to chase down that total, what fighting spirit the batsmen showed.

The pitch is a real minefield here,it's a matter of time before england fall.
But england have shown good fight here, pity they couldn't do this before.

That was scary. Had torn ACL, MCL, etc written all over it. Johnson is very lucky.

Johnson was really lucky there, the moment i saw that live,i thought johnson is done, but thank god that was not the case.

Excellent batting by stokes but it will take an almighty effort for England to win this and just can't see it happening.

Surprise, surprise, the only player fighting isn't even an Englishmen :))

If these two can bat and reach within 100 runs of the australian total, then they might just have a shot.

England scored 81/1 in this session.
They require another 172 more to win.

Stokes is the first NZ-born player to make a Test century at the WACA since Adam Parore in 2001

Can Stokes hit one of the finest knocks in the history of the Ashes? Stage is set.

That would make it one of the finest even outside of Ashes. No team has chased 500+ in history.

If they can get 500 on this wicket, more power to them. Doubt it though, we just need to grind through and take back our Ashes.

Cool.

An over rated urn which only two teams can win, but whatever, power to you.

Stokes has handled Johnson quite well, a brave knock from the young man. Hope he doesn't turn out to be the next JP Duminy

Stokes is out.
Congrats aussies for winning the urn,the last thorn is taken out.

Bresnan should just throw his bat at everything now, might as well entertain the crowd and boost ur stats.

The Ashes are ours!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The embarrassing thing is he wouldn't even make the NZ team :))

More fool them, then. BIG future for this lad. It has taken a 22-year-old hobbit to show the men of Gondor how to bat against the Balrog Johnson.

Incredible effort from Aussies , not many would have thought they would be 3- 0 ahead .
