England has been bowling quite nicely. Helps to have tall fast bowlers at Perth. Australia's lower middle order has shown great ability finishing games in chases. Now we get to see if they can build an innings and set up a large total.

Thank you Ali. The bowling attack looks so balanced.

What a decent Offie Ali is. He does what he is capable of and doesn't try to do to much.

Maxwell having one of those rare games where he looks like he could one day be a responsible batter.

The trick against Australia is attack their batting with good bowling. Then you will have real chance beating them. But if you allow their batting to flourish with your weak bowling, then they have decent bowling line up to attack you & win the game. Teams like India, Sri Lanka will struggle against Aussies until they find a decent bowling attack to put pressure on their batsmen (that mostly happens in Sub-continent conditions where India & Sri Lanka & even Pakistan can dominate them with their bowling). But on their day Aussie batsmen have the capability to pile up huge runs at real brisk pace and their bowling can take care of the rest. Which means Australia are the "first" favorites to win the world cup especially when they are playing at their home (can happen like how India won the world cup at their home)

Great counter attack. England losing the focus. Do they realize 230 will be impossible to chase here ?

Interesting :13:

Why is Haddin in the team again ? Good negotiator ? knows how to herd some of the naughty boys ?

Faulkner is a waste of a spot in this Aussie team. You need your four best bowlers in the WC and the guy is simply not good enough.

Apart from him being one of the best ODI finishers in the world. Wouldn't exactly call that a waste.

Sigh  I really want Australia to lose. It'll make me feel better about our chances against them.

Hahaha No Show misses out on century. Should have stayed on till the 45th over at least. Power play was over and it was a horrible shot.

Brett Lee called Maxwell classy a number of times.....................................

This game is getting interesting. As a Saffer I am starting to wonder who is actually the favourite for the World Cup? NZ

This is 3rd time one odi maxwell missed his century and got out in 90s i remember him getting out in 90s multiple times in IPL and other leagues too so 100 and maxwell are not comign together so well

For all those who are hating on Maxwell.

This is why you should have an impact player in your side.

He is stupid, but he gives you the X factor.

I am glad he was selected in the World Cup Squad.

Will silence a lot of critics.

He is very talented bloke.

Starting to feel England's chances in this world cup are massively underrated. Anderson, Broad, Finn and Ali make up a really nice bowling attack. Their batting might be worry but they're chasing really well recently.
