^ Any news of him coming back? How did the operation go? Best of luck to the WC winning hero

According to the Star Sports commies each of the Indian bowlers have "bowled really well but just been unlucky"

How many of you think that India may follow-on if Australia manages more than 500?

At what score do you think Aussies :warne should declare?

I think 700, can't underestimate Indian batting legends, last time they beat them

and when the batsmen get out, "batted very well but was unlucky to get bowled"

Well in 2003 we scored 400+ in the first day and lost the match here. Adelaide almost always provides a result. We want at least 600+ I reckon. Bat for three full days, keep the Indians in the field until their spirit is totally crushed, and then bowl them out the last couple.

lol, 3/323, Punter 134, Clarke 131. run rate around 4

Oh really?
But India is being captained by the promoter of Jhajjar International school aka Viru the sehwag who was speculated to be creating a rift in the team to get his hands on captaincy. I was expecting him to lead the Indian team to an innings victory so that his dream is fulfilled.

Oh wait. I guess they wana get this over in 2 days and then go for shopping:amir

Stumps, 3/335. Pup 340, Dubya 337. Well placed after India won the first session. India went the next 2 sessions wicketless. Hopefully we keep them in the field the whole day again tomorrow.

good prediction

I'm impressed with the Adelaide crowd. Series done and dusted but they still showed up in their thousands.

Who would miss an opportunity to watch their batsmen make sure shot hundreds or bowlers take sure shot 5fers on the first day of a match?

So India have nearly made sure they are not going to win this test. The best they can hope is a draw, provided they get their batting act together. Not very optimistic about this though....

Me. They are beaten mentally.

Yea. Their body language today was completely shot. They looked like a whipped dog that just wanted to go home. I hope we put another 350 on the board tomorrow and make them field in the hot sun for another day :D

Make them field for another 2 days and let them sunburned. This way, half of them would declare themselves unfit the next time a tour to OZ is announced:umarakmal

don't really understand why there was such a long wait for Adelaide. If it was going to be the decider, better to play it sooner when people's anticipation and everyone's eager to watch it. If it's like now, an irrelevant game, might as well play it earlier to get it out of the way. No point the away team sticking around like that when the series is lost. Hard to exactly get motivated in the long period off, they're probably just thinking of going home. Don't think the Indians worked particularly hard practising for this test.

Felt like an age between last test and this one.

Pitches have been great, exciting to see the new improved Aussie bowling attack, and better performances from the batting department. But it's been a little one sided which is disappointing, I thought this would be a good contest.

Well if they want to go home getting flogged 4-0 instead of putting up a heroic fight and winning some pride and heading off on a good note 3-1 then that's their problem :D

Will by 4-0 by End of 3rd day .

Pathetic bowling

That is, assuming Aus will not bat until day 3!!

This is quite possible now. Aus can play 3 days, get 800-1000 and then bowl out India twice in two days, for an innings and 500 run win!

Considering Clarke is captain, don't think that's going to happen. He'll probably declare when Aus has reached about 650 - 700 runs. Though scoring a 1000 runs would be quite a sight. :farhat

Zaheer Khan continues to show why he is better than James Anderson, and indeed that he is one of the best bowlers of all time. By the way, Anderson took 4-50 on his first day in Adelaide, to Zaheer's 1-52. There are rumours Zaheer will be getting a hero's welcome when he disembarks the plane home, for managing to play all four tests.

@ whippy

do you want me to bump Jimmy vs steyn thread :13:.
Both are rubbish bowlers initially, but having some purple patch in recent years. :p

Allmos all engerland cricket fans are sensitive Jimmy fans

English fans obsession with cheering on their average bowler is mystifying to me. I understand India hyping Zak because Indian quicks are terrible but English supporters should know what a quality English seamer looks like.....FYI doesnt look like Anderson.

How did the worlds greatest bowler go in the last Test? Did he take a wicket?

Salam brothers :moyo and Aussie Friends :warne,

May Allah gives us the pleasure to watch Punter score more runs at a better strike rate this time, Subhanallah :amla

The SLAUGHTER of India continues. This is brutal in every way, human rights groups need to take a look at this dire situation.

Someone needs to do a stat check on Ishant Sharma. Everytime I watch him play he is getting hammered and yet he is averaging below 40? Given how most statsgurus are Indians, I wouldn't be surprised if some manipulation is found somewhere. :akhtar :yk

This is what I was thinking. I'm amazed his average is so low. I know he had a good trip to WI but really, would have thought he would be approaching :sami standards by now.

India leaking a couple of boundaries in almost every over.

with current progress rate and ease they are dealing with I think they can go for something extra they got time on their hand.

Indian meidum pacers getting hammered right left and centre, love the aggressive aussie approach, clarke doing a great job of really making test cricket entertaining.
