The strategy given to pace bowlers for couple of years now by the looks of it in ODIs is to keep the batsmen guessing bowling short balls, good lenght, slower balls, yorkers etc. in almlst every over.

Bowling coach or head coach should have realized bowlers like Shaheen and probably Hasan still need to work on their good length deliveries. Try too many half cooked deliveries doesnt get you wickets and leaks runs, bowlers should stick to their strengths and practice variations in nets unless they are completely perfect.
