well no, that had nothing to do with younis.

If we can get to 40 overs without loss of wicket (or perhaps 1 wicket loss), we should start slogging. We've still got afridi, malik, naved, aamer (even asif looked rather good in the last test if you remember).

Hope Australia bring on Hauritz soon...

they have too there is no other bowler for rickey i think

200 looks unlikely..afridi will hit few 4 and will get out same with malik and same with yunis....collapse #58 in the making

Two inform players sacrified for YK. He should be playing side match....

All supporting him don't understand cricket or not listening to commentary from Oz experts.

This innings seems to be going nowhere, we need a quick-fire fifty from :afridi

WOW YK playing with Malik

this is intersting
nothing is interesting when yunis is batting..its just plain out boring..reminds of tests..

Well
Umar would have played that same shot had he been playing in a test match with one hour left to play out a draw

It was a rank bad ball, and it deserved to be hit for 4, maybe even 6, but it was just a case of wrong execution rather than pressure from YK

Why oh why they keep playing Malik??? Why? Why? Why???

His batting average in ODI's is better than YK's
and his off spinners can come in really handy.

Sad, YK showing us why he should have played in Sydney and not today, selection blunders continue.

Younis Khan has been away from cricket for while and now he is greeting all his mates at the grease:D

Unacceptable stuff from :yk, if he wants to bat through fair enough, but at least rotate strike. SR should be 60 at least.

well it's 52 now, so he is getting there

Nod off for a a couple of deliveries and suddenly it's 4 wickets. Think it's time for a bit of sleep and i'll continue this on sky+ later

malik is a pretty good ODI player. He's proven himself on a consistent basis.

yeah we'd rather see him hit a 4 and then get out so we can collapse

Well hes doing okayish in my books
We need some steadying influence as well.

Isn't it great we have a top order batsman still batting in the 33rd over.
Just lends stability to the batting and the others coming in can afford to play their game

thats what people did on the 5th day in sydney
they weren't too happy when they were back

wow what is Rickey doing..

hm strange things but mostly good

hopefuly this time good for Pak InschAllah

Malik should get out now. I want to see the infamous 0(1) innings from Afridi.

One more wicket = Panicstani collapse = score of 230 = Aus Win

Yep, YK showing his class as a test player... in the middle of an ODI.

We already have 5 bowlers including 2 spinners in the team. I hope he proves more valuable than the specialist batsman's position he has taken.

Conventional wisdom would say we should double our runs here but do we have the players capable of doing it here?

we'll get at least 200 I'm pretty sure of that.

The problem is on this sort of batting pitch, Australia are capable of getting near 300, so you need to set a competitive score to challenge.

I don't see a huge score now. Afridi really has to perform now.
