Whats this 35 year old lump of **** doing in this team, "experienced campaigner" my ass. Just proves that even with an MBA, "sense" isnt guraunted.
 
Bowlers don't have much choice now, fielders will drop the catch. Umpires will not give LBW, so let's just bowled them out

Can't blame Akmal, chances like that are extremely difficult for the keeper. Taking those involves as much luck as judgement

Honestly when I saw first few overs I thought we have really improved our fielding after having Waqar as bowling coach

but we are dropping catches before that in NZ series and there is no hope of improvement. Moyo seems to be OK with it too he should be getting worked up but he is maybe laughing it off with Misbah

People were speculating about how many catches we'd drop in the series, might as well go ahead and create a thread about catches dropped per day!

I again say Paisa talks so each catch you drop you have to pay up 5% of your match fee to charity. It is a win win proposition.
 
Come on guys. Hold it together. This opening pair had good starts against WI in all the matched. But if we take our chances, once through them the rest can collapse. Remember the enemy is Australia! Pakistan Zinabad!

Inti or whoever has the guts should give a :133: to anyone who drops a catch! And charge them some of their match fee, that ought to straighten the butter fingers.....

There are 2 things our guys hate
It is losing money and doing some genuine hard work

A cut out of match fees per drop and 30 minutes of runnings per drop
 
Atleast Ajmal is settling into a nice rhythm. He'll be doing a lot of bowling by the looks of it.

I think Yousuf should place all fielders outside the circle. Theres no point in keeping them there. Cant stop singles, cant take catches. Atleast that wont fool the audience to believe something "normal" about our test cricket.

if Pakistan want to stay competitive they have to get rid of the these top order players on the cheap....

when Imran was captain and someone dropped a catch, he would sometimes substitute the fielder on the spot. not even another ball for him.

our present Captaan Sahab won't even move them to a different part of the field.

If you do that players will revolt against the captain these days and Moyo loves to be the Captain so what do you expect?

For all we know it could have been 3 or 4 with out of form Hussey and shaky Ponting.

Healy is right in saying session was lost by us rather than won by Aussies.

All in all I would say we could have hardly bowled better than this

well that was a rather unproductive first session..was waiting for aamir / asif to do some damage straight up for a few days now
 
Well it's 6.30 am here, am off to sleep. Expect to wake up to see the score line to be 300+ for 3...
 
Like I said earlier, with Dani injured, would've had Sami in for Bhanja

Atleast have 5 bowlers to get 20 Aus wickets!
 
horrible fielding..Aus should have been 73/2...

Pak started where they left off in NZ...2 easy catches...

Why didnt they select Sami...we need some more pace...AR is not upto the mark...bad selection...

Pak lost the session...
 
That was an excellent display by the Pak bowlers. Yet again they have been undermined by their batsmen - in thr field.
 
the only bright side is that the Aussies haven't been scoring like it's an ODI. some good bowling to keep them at 2.5 an over on what looks to be an excellent batting pitch.

come on guys, can't afford to drop any more catches.

i can see misbah sitting down with iqbal and farhat for lunch, talking about that dropped catch, laughing it up
