What's new

Australia v Pakistan | 4th ODI | Perth | 29/01/2010 | Pak innings

Akmal showing great maturity with his knock just like last match..

Fawad Alam physically too small too hit 6's, he struggles to even hit 4s, tells you how poor our domestic circuit is that they can let him get away like he does.

Hopes to Umar Akmal, FOUR, shot! Clears the front leg, and smashes this length delivery inside-out over extra cover

I heard he was middling everything...even when he knicked it to the keeper, it had class written all over it.

How freaky, as soon as I saw Hauritz throw the ball at the stumps before hitting I knew Alam was gone :O...

A certain Shahid is on the field with a long slender object in hand.

Class?? It was masterclass, Bradman style

sukar hai Allah ka Alam gaya despite i m his fan he should be in T-20 only hehe just because of his fielding .

I still remember Dean Jones forcing then commentator/cheif selector Aamir Shoail into dropping Younis by saying on air that how could a batsman who hasn't scored a hundred in 90+ odis be a regular in the team.

That was a waste if you are going to play slow you have to atleast stay until the end

well if fawad played 21 of 50..

if he had played for 10 more overs 50 of 100 balls.. so i think now pak have a little chance if they can accelate it well

Kuptaan saab is playing like a true cheetah...him and mian mithoo are competing for the worst averages in this series. :moyo

Blessing in Disguise

No international cricket in Pak, and no trips to India, is a blessing in disguise. No chance for our 'seniors' (Younis, Yousuf, Shoaib, Misbah) to burnish their averages playing at home on flat pitches and against innocuous spinners.

Maybe that is why Younis avoided the NZ-Aus trip - his Test average would have dipped below 50. It is precariously 50.09 right now.

Still a long way to go, but Umar and Salman are picking up the lessons of how to face Aus/NZ/SA/Eng fast bowlers.

This cannot be bad.

:afridi comes in....
again some fireworks needed from :afridi

long cheer from crowd..... he is on strike...
