very disappointing performance from pak, its quite evident their is no cohesion behind close doors.

Aussies have a pace heavy attack so dont expect much from Malik and Sarfraz especially Sarfraz. Sharjeel and Akmal will be key. Also pray that Shehzad gets out early or he will lose this match for us before the 10th over
 
That Wahab ball to Smith is Mind Boggling. Someone should upload the clip on YouTube and will surely have more than 1 million views

All three fast bowlers have been rubbish.

Hahahhah. I just want to laugh because Pakistan dont deserve anything but going home. Aussies hopefully will win next game as well and go to the semis.
 
Afridi was the best bowler today. Very economical even if he didn't get wickets. And a great cameo by Watto as well.
 
Need Sharjeel Khan to give us a start;

Aussie bowling is arguably the worst among the top 8 .

So if Pakistan can get of to a similar start like that against Kiwis they definitely have a chance .
As Aussies don't have any experienced or quality spinner either to choke Pakistani Batsmen in middle overs like Kiwis did.
Key is going big in poweplays

Amir started well, then Wahab started well, then Imad started well, and Afridi had a mixed bag but did well near the end. Amir-Wahab-Imad went on to get smashed then. Sami was crap through out.
 
I think its very demoralising how pak bowlers could never stop the run making of Australia.
 
As a fan people must be very angry i have never seen pakistan team perform like this, i mean i have never seen them play like this, we have always played T20 cricket with Passion and intensity. Something is Fishy in the camp. Maxwell run out by akmal looks like a deliberate attempt not to get him out. Looked so weird the throw.

Pretty much. I'd say the spinners were a tad better overall than Wahab and Aamir. Sami was absolute garbage. Pakistan needed a Zafar Gohar type spinner in this tournament.
 
Australia will win this by at least 70-80 runs if not more and what a terrible farewell to Afridi & Waqar.

No, Mohammad Asghar is so much better in-terms of being tricky and economical.. Zafar was leaking a 4 every over last time he played (IIRC v England).

Oh stop with the conspiracy theories. Please just realize that we aren't good enough and someone who isn't delusional should be happy we won 1 game, with this bowling attack and captaincy.
 
Afridi should open in his final match.


The spirit our team is playing in , we wont even try to chase it. Expect a useless 50 from malik which wont help us at all.

Well a specialist spinner in any case. In fact I'm surprised that Malik didn't get a single over.
 
I hope Afridi re considers his decision and continues as a player for another 2 years, he's just 36 and fitter to most Pakistani's.

Hope he scores in this match too, if PAK has to chase this down they would need him.

Afridi is one of the few bright spots in this side, he bowled brilliantly today.
 
If there is one team you won't back chasing this type of total is Pak
