Has the match gone out of Australia's reach already?

The situation at Stumps on Day 3:

India 250 & 151/3 * (61 ov), Australia 235

Day 3: India lead by 166 runs with 7 wickets remaining

It has been an enthralling game so far. Day 4 promises to be same. If India take 300 lead, they should win this. All depends on Pujara. If he can anchor the innings, others can play around him.

Big day for Indian cricket. Supporting them in this one. They just need to keep their heads cool. Its in the bag as I see it, unless an early morning callapse.

I do not see Aussies making a comeback in this Test.

They need to come up with better plan for next test.

Rooting for Pujara to get back to back hundreds. Against a complete attack like that, will be some performance.

Tim paine Sarfraz Kohli Root worst captains going.
Soon instead of watching test cricket fans will just check scorecard at the end of the day.

Have to give a lot of credit to Pujara. His knock kept India in the game and now he is taking the game away from Australia here against a world class attack.

On bowling friendly pitches he should do well. But on pitches that are flat when you need to bat a good rate I have slight worries about him.

Well done to him in this game though.

Why are they discussing how hard it is being Virat and Anushka  Tabloid commentary.

India should aim to bat most of the day. Ashwin should cause problems on this pitch. If he can't help India win the test from here , he should be disappointed with himself.

Really good stuff from India especially Pujara in both the innings and then bowlers to back it up.

Suddenly the pitch looks lifeless and flat. India should aim for a quick 350 target.

Seriously I cringed so hard at that. And it was all that idiot Bhogle.

Going an about Yogi and whatnot and how she has influenced him, one might think he will become a Sadhu tomorrow.

On another note, in the shot (which started this whole nonsense) Kohlis leg below the knee looked too tooth-pickish. Maybe someone took a screenshot.

Pujara and Rahane need to consolidate first till the end of this session atleast and then they can up the anti a bit along with natural stroke makers like Rohit and Pant.

India batting for too long can save Aus here.

They were talking about a famous book "The autobiography of a Yogi" which apparently has influenced Kohli a lot.

Didn't like Pujara before because he looks like Mr Potato Head but he is starting to win me over with this batting and resolve.

Have to say this, even with the new commentary team of FOX, Aussie commentators are way better than Indian commentary team (Sony). Love Vaughan/ Warnie and the ever comical Kerry o'keefe

Kohli has always gone for the win aggressively. They aren't going to bat after tea.

India will score too many runs by then because another 50 runs then they can play more freely unless they get bowled out.

Aus bowled better yesterday. Very good batting from India here to not play poor shots.

Yeah I know, I actually read the first chapter but could never really get into these self enlightenment, self help books, especially hated Paolo Coelho, he was on a different level of condescendence.

New ball taken. Next half an hour will decide whether we can run away with the game or not. Expect Rohit/Pant to fail against the new ball.

Lol The Alchemist is probably the single most overrated thing to happen to humanity.

Pujara has single-handedly destroyed the fabled Australian pace attack in Australia in this Test. Reminds me of Gavaskar and Boycott in his determination not to be beaten.

Almost 200 runs and still not out to the bowlers yet. If he keeps playing like this for the rest of the series, and no reason why he won't, the Australians are looking at a very long dry summer.

Lets not get carried away here now. Not forgetting his contribution in the 3rd Test win against SA.

This is going to be an easy draw for Australia...even I can go and bat out whole day on that placid wicket

Aussies need to be start planning for next game here , India will be more confident next test

Since sandpaper gate, Starc has rarely gotten much reverse going. Coupled with his on/off inswing ability, he's looking most pedestrian of Aussie pacers.

Brilliant intelligent batting by India. Golden opportunity for India to win. If they don't win here they will lose the series.

The cameramen should stop trolling and should start focusing on the semi full stands. They should take lessons from the UAE crew who could make 10 people and their stuffed toys look like a full house. Experience, pure and simple.

If Rohit plays another test i'm going to smash my head into a wall.

Disgraceful wicket. So much turn and bounce, wow. It feels as if India is playing in India, not in Australia.

commentators just says Sehwag plays all kind of shots, reverse sweep etc.. I never see him playing reverse sweep...

Asian pitches don't have this bounce plus Adelaide pitch always breaks up as the game progresses, look at the matches in 2014 and 2011 series.

Man have to say cricket as a spectator looks the most fun in Australia and also South Africa. Just chilling in the stands having a drink (:moyo), it's so chilled out and relaxed. In England it's nice viewing too, but everyone dresses up posh for tests. Think Australia, SA, and NZ are more scenic. NZ grounds are too small though, someone should look into it.

Aussie grounds are the best. Scenic, good pitches and outfiled, great stands. In fact, all the grounds have something special. (Or used to have before drop-in pitches and the new Perth stadium as WACA is no more used).

You have already got this.

Not really. Apart from the rough, there is hardly anything for the bowlers. Expect Australia to grind out atleast a draw if not win. Anything above 360 and with 4 sessions, we are winning it.

This Aussie team don't have capability to chase 250 in 4th innings on this wicket.

Away from home you have to take your chances
At Edgbaston India lost a game they should have won. England won 4-1.

True, but we're not talking about Pak in Eng, that's our home away from home ( on a couple of grounds) due to some apparent reasons.
