Australia vs India | 1st Test | Adelaide | Dec 6-10, 2018 | Day 4 Thread

Indians going full ****** or bust. perfect situation for hacks Rohit and Pant.

pant is a Must for 2019 WC , very aggressive hitter , just what India needs in the lower order

Aussies looking to wrap this up fast , but I have a feeling Indian Tail will wag here

Aussies lost the game when they lost too many wickets on day 2 . After getting India for 250 they should have taken a lead of at least 50 - 75 runs lead

Target is 323 for Australia.Ashwin is the key,India should win if he gets 3-4 wickets

When has it ever? lol

By bar one of the worst tails of any top 5 countries. You get to 5 wickets down and India can't manage a double digit addition to runs anymore.

If Aussies can survive rest of the day with two down , they will have a chance , if India get 4 wickets . India will be in driving seat. Also , it would be interesting to see how much India attack , its possible they will have a semi attacking field , would not like to leak too many easy runs up front.

Barring an Ashwin special, I expect Australia to win this especially if they attack from the word go. Kohli the captain will most likely choke this up after an Aussie attack.

IF Aus somehow wins this, this would be one of the greatest chases of all time....Indians bowling real well here..

5 from first over

Lot of things happening in the first over .

This should be really excitting if Aussies can bat long enough , possibly could go down the wire

losing 4 wickets for 4 runs , we have given hosts a chance . That no-ball wicket adds to it .

Damn we had to wait more than a decade to see an Asian country win even 1 test in Australia (??). India have this 60-40.

This always happens, doesn't it? We are in a reasonable position overnight only to suffer some sort of collapse early the next morning.

Looking at the scorecard, Rahane scored 70, Pujara too. Pant scored a brisk 30 - why couldn't everybody else chip in a little bit?

Anyway, hopefully this total is good enough.

But if they get to 75/1 or something then game on.

Brother , India despite that are favourites here , They do not have batsmen to score that many runs , Australia does not have any pujara

pitch has slowed & that is why the 3rd innings had the highest score . This is not going to be easy .

Amazing field setup on that slip. Kohli will never learn. He doesn’t have a single tactician’s bone in his body. All he does is reacts to what has already happened instead of trying to create opportunities.

We are losing this, what a disaster ,similar to how we screw up in first test in every away series, if we lose this Kohli has TO STEP DOWN.

If we lose this then Kohli should probably step down. Good thing that there is no way we're losing it.

India will win this , you are too negative. Aussies batting is poor.

Good to see the back of Khwaja, surely Australia have players better than him and the Marsh bros

The amount of pace Bhumra generates with that short run up is mind blowing. Never seen that before.

Lot of similarities between Khwaja and @mamba_red
Both are Pakistanis pretending to be an Australian...

Usman seems well integrated though. Seems quite chilled and Aussie types from what I have observed so far.

Can Australia chase this? Looks highly unlikely at this moment. A 100 run partnership might convince me though..

15 overs left in the day . Aus would be around 120 mark at close & if just 3 down , will be in a position to win this .
