This has been a really good Test, credit to both sides.

Some of the chasing numbers bandied about here and on TV are funny. Cos teams chase 300 all the time in the fourth inning. And the wicket is bouncing and seaming.

These two teams always produce good cricket when playing against each other. That has been the case for a while. Makes you watch test cricket.

I think chasing even 200 will be tricky here. 250 lead will amost ensure Aus win. I think right now Aus has slight advantage.

yes thats true indian batting is class as a captain somtime u think u need 10 bowlers instead. class act all of em. but it will be interesting once laxmi, dravud , sachin hav all retired... then well see how good the young guns are.

They'll start losing matches at home more often

162 runs lead..... I think Aussies can add another 70 by the stumps, that would be taking the overall lead to 230 ..... important thing would be how many down they are at stumps....

I think both the teams would look to get a win here..... Its nice to be ahead early in the series.

I think the young Indian batsmen suffer due to the greats. It means they don't have to take on responsibility. So if the fab four all fail well I can fail too mindset.

We won't see the best from them until the greats go IMO.

The MIGHTY and TALL Ishant has taken one wicket and hit 152, that should ensure another four years of overrating and continued selection.

we've made up for wrong decision of DRS in earlier innings.saved his career.great job:po:

Hopefully both Ponting & hussey will get their 100s by the end of play today....inshallah

Expecting a total around 350 to 400 to chase for india and also a batting collapse from india in the second innings

Hope India gets a few more decisions against them. That will teach bloody BCCI the use of UDRS.

Maheshnarayan: "(Warning: Lame physics joke coming up) If a force equivalent to Chris Martin's batting average is applied on a surface area equivalent to the Don's batting average, the resultant pressure will still be higher than what Dhoni is putting on these two batsmen right now." Ye all, don't say he didn't warn you
