Why is shafiq going after every ball is he ****** off that babar took his number 4 position what a terrible innings it’s like he wanted to get out
 
Yasir shah should make a double with the bat to compensate for his incompetency with the ball and the madness of the team management.
 
Our Test batting is a circus as a whole.

This isn't something new sadly. How do we develop it?

lol now we will see azhar scoring a 100 on a flatbed in 100 and hence everything will be forgotten.

let me remind you all that azhar averaged 30 last year and only averaging 10 this year , but was rewarded with captaincy. Only in pakistan that incompetent people are rewarded. One is rewarded with a tripple role.

Thats been the case in every test he has ever played.
I said after innings in Brisbane he has already played customary decent knock of a test series now dont expect him to do anything.
His place is sealed for next test series and thats all what matters
 
why is iftikhar coming ahead of rizwan ? do the coach and the captain have any idea about anything at all?

Funny thing is our most experienced Test batsmen have both scored 9 this Test. I hope PCB does something about these two after this series.
 
to Shafiqa defence he has been better than azhar in the last couple of years and should feel bad that he wasnt offered the captaincy.

If this is the best possible team, then why exactly was Mickey fired?

Pakistan need to start the redevelopment phase as soon as possible.

Get rid of non performing seniors, build the team around Babar & Shaheen, invest in promising guys, ask Amir to come back, cancel his central contract if he refuses.

That's what we are doing.

It will take time, and results will be ugly. Young bowlers do not immediately take wickets.

Glad we kicked Sarfraz and Malik. Next should be Shan Masood and Shafiq. Azhar has to perform as a captain.

Mickey was a proper coach who else in his right mind will even take this job? Also after Misbah sacking Mickey to get his job for himself drama we will find it even hard.
 
Funny life cycle of a Pakistani cricketer. Bull in skills, just need to be on the right side of thirties and that's counted as maturity. Add to that a touch of angrezi and you're a captaincy material. Well done Azhar and Asad you've served us well for a decade and made the world fear your prowess.
 
Hopefully Australia won't invite pak again to tour for the next 10 years

Honestly this is like watching a school team playing against professionals

where is sami aslam for the starters , where is abid ali? Thats two for you. Where is fawad alam, what does he have to do get selected? Three for you. You know shadab khan has 3 50s in test cricket where is he? You know fahim ashraf has 6 wickets in the last test he played , where is he? do you know shadab outperformed yasir shah in the same test match in south africa? Do you know yasir averaged 80 plus in the last tour o australia as well? what credentials did musa have to be selected?


so many questions , come up with the answers.

Mickey wasn't the best, but he was better than the current coach, waqar Younis and dav watmore Put together.

I hope so too I would like to watch something less embarrassing during winter when one has more time to sit and home and watch cricket. Pakistan should play Zimbabwe and Afghanistan for the next few years so we can enjoy some competitive cricket.
 
It is a crime to use international cricket as a practice ground, and select players who have no domestic record to show, just for the sake of 'let's try and see what happens'.

This shows you're not serious about the sport and don't give a **** about how much it means to the country. You take it for granted and then hide behind excuses. You don't put enough hours to do your job of grinding and scouting domestic cycle, instead use board meetings to flaunt names and get them on board. You're lazy, and you are accountable.

So you haven't really given any name of a proven batsman or a bowler. That is what I expected.

Now when Abid will fail too, you will start hating on him plus the selector. Sami Aslam was hated in his time. Shadab isn't a Test bowler, he can't even keep things tight in ODIs.

You just know how to hate randomly.

He was best we can afford and the best of the lot willing to work with our team. I hope you understand that Pakistan is not really the brand one likes to associate himself with.

Thank God for that I am also happy we are only playing two tests. I have a feeling humiliation awaits us at home by the hand of Sri Lankans but it will not be this bad.

Ehsan Mani and Wasim Khan should be thrown out. We thought Sethi being replaced would improve Pakistan board, Imran Khan installed an absolute joke as PCB chairman since his coming. He has been atrocious for the national team. First putting a monster Inzamam ul Haq in charge to squeeze Arthur and Sarfaraz. After both were gone installing the worst person who even does'nt deserve to be employed for the club coaching, giving him cheif selector role as well.

Imran khan proved a disaster so far for pakistan. Installing dinosaurs like ehsan mani because once upon a time he used to be good. Absolute circus.

I really hope so my friend, I have been following Pakistan cricket since 2004 and test tours to Australia and SA have always been the litmus test for assessing the team strength for me. And although it was almost always abysmal down under, this current tour has been the worst.

Pakistan desperately need a spinner too.
 
Lmaooo starc got so easily into iftikhar uncles head all he did was some tiny sledge and out came iftikhars ego tried smashing it out of Adelaide

Don’t get your hopes up. Misbah is not the right guy to take Pakistan forward. He knows nothing about coaching a international team. Just wait 3 years of humiliating defeats before we find someone better.
 
Must say big big oppertunity for uncle ifti....he playing 20 20..he has been told by misbah you get a lovely 20 and you are in for next 2 years

This poster [MENTION=134608]Hawkeye[/MENTION] is just a spokesperson for the PCB mafia here, his opinion is not worth it given its not for the betterment of Pakistan cricket.
This guy is all personal against Arthur and Sarfaraz, never have I seen him discuss team results.
We've seen Misbah and Waqar since 2010 to 2015 do absolute catastrophe to the Pakistan cricket team.
Nothing to expect their apart from taking no. 1 T20 team under Arthur to losing to a Sri Lankan club team.

I am not too convinced about Misbah either, especially due to the way he got the job.
However, I really hope he shows the strength of character to make strong calls and declare that a few home series wins are not what Pakistan are aiming for.

The aim should be to build a team that is skilled and brave enough to fight wherever they play.

He is not good at making strong calls. He actually has a history of panicking. If you look at our team selection thus far it has gone all over the place. Hope is useless if its done with someone who himself is hopeless in the opportunity presented to him.
 
Are Pakistan even capable of competing at the top level anymore ?
 
Umar Akmal got dropped for life for playing a ‘silly’ shot and getting out. Surely Ifti Chacha has no leg to stand on after that?

Right now, we're in a position where we're even losing at home.

Under Mickey Arthur Sri Lanka whitewashed us at our home.

In Tests, especially this era, to be considered a srong team, you need to start wining at home and make it a strong base.

We had that going (even won in England) before Misbah/Younis Khan retired.

But today, things are abysmal in Tests. We can start thinking about winning overseas when our home gets strong again.
 
This aussie team is the biggest wussies ever they are scared of babar Azam hitting them for boundaries they don’t want to look bad lmao even with 600 on the board they have all fielders on the boundary shava bobby atleast they fear something of ours
