Lol Imran Tahir is pretty bad, to think some ppers used tosay that the selectors were unjust to Tahir and he is better than Danish Kaneria :)) :))

Tbf it's not only Tahir but Morkel too, ball's not doing anything, you only have to hit through the line.

So no matter what happens in India.........presumably when Australia become number one here and then when we beat New Zealand and win the Ashes, we become number one again :91:

I was agreeing with the "sad times for cricket" comment..... that the best attack is being trashed like as if they are club cricketers.
 
Pretty much a batting paradise from ball one. Nothing much for the quicks except the odd ball. Kallis got the ball to do a bit before his unfortunate injury. Bowled a couple of beauties to get rid of Cowan and Ponting. Apart from that it has been an absolute run fest out there especially after lunch. Entertaining knocks by Warner and Clarke but quite disappointed with the Seth African bowling performance. As I type this finally Morkel removes Warner. Still looks like a long couple of days ahead for Seth Africa.
 
Healy is a massive jeb. You can hear it in his voice.

Two things unique to antipodean cricket, one I like and one I don't: it's cute that they put a little picture of a duck instead of a zero on the scorecard, a batsman might console himself with that. But the 4/210 instead of 210/4, sorry I can't get used to it. You don't lose 4 wickets for 210 runs, you score 210 runs for the loss of 4 wickets!
 
Let the epic collapse begin. I have a feeling that this is going to be the test match of the year.
 
Never understood why Morkel was bowling around the wicket. Got it right finally.

Yes it is a batting wicket but not too bad for the bowlers. The pitch has some bounce and the ball did seam around when Kallis was bowling. Warner was just special today.

Only the odd ball doing something. Rest straight as an arrow. Only positive is there's some bounce and carry but a batting paradise and short boundaries to go with it..
 
Amazin stuff from Warner and Clarke, thats what we want - counter attack.

Now yes we are four down but we have 200+ runs.

The score is 4/218 you Pommy git. Thats how you write a cricket score. You dont go out 218 time to score 4.

Horse's a*se. It's cynical to say you've lost 4 wickets for 218 scored, it's like, oh no, we've lost 4 wickets. And it doesn't sound right.

You score 218 runs for the loss of 4 wickets.
 
I don't see how people can be fit enough to play test cricket if they have moobs. Nobody I know who goes the gym regularly including me (I ran mine off) has moobs.

Only Kallis and Kleinveldt has looked good with the ball thus far. So it must be the moobies. :bow: moobies
