I dont care what Asad shafique's record is. He doesnt deserve to be compared to the other two because he is a mental midget who has regressed massively.

Asad used to average 47 about 7 years ago. What does he average now? 37? Thats a massive fall.

This is his first hundred against a decent team after 5 years if I'm not wrong. He may be slightly better at best. One great innings doesn't change how poor he has been in the past 4 years.

I have watched Azhar Ali and Asad Shafiq for years. Rahane is a much better player and I have been critical of Rahane.

Rahane's knock today was ATG level, not based on the batting conditions or the bowling attack but based on the kind of scrutiny and pressure he went through after running his captain out in 1st inning and then getting out to 0 in second inning of first test and delivering a performance of this calibre.

It was a wonderful wonderful captain's knock and if India wins this game, this is the inning that he can cherish for a long long time.

Both azhar and rahane are bette than asad shafiq. Rahane might be better than azhar only because of azhars massive regression since 2017.

I have watched Azhar Ali and Asad Shafiq for years. Rahane is a much better player and I have been critical of Rahane.

Think I can say the same for Rahane. I have been watching him bat since the marathon home season in 2016 where everyone and their dog in the Indian team were scoring runs for fun and then there was Rahane failing every outing. He was dreadful in our away cycle in 2018-20 as well.

then Asad.. Asad just cannot handle any sort of pressure.

Rahane helped in winning a test in lords, scored a valiant 48 in SA helping in win again.
I am trying to remember an overseas match winning innings from Azhar in SENA.
