You're comparing a young top order batsman with a middle order batsman in his prime.

Compare Babar with Soumya Sarkar or Liton Das.

Compare Mushfiq with Mohammad Hafeez or Haris Sohail.

Unfair comparasion if you ask me. Mushfiq is in his prime and is probably one of the best batsmen going around in international cricket. This comparasion makes more sense when babar hones his skills properly and in his prime aswell.

One current form, mushfiq > babar. However, i am assuming when babar will be in his prime, he will be way ahead of mushfiq.

I have no problem in admitting that at the moment Mushfiqur may very well be a better batsman than Babar Azam. I'd say as a batsman Babar is better but Mushi is capable of playing higher impact innings and is clutch.

Yes. Mushfiqur plays match changing knocks, crucial knocks often unlike Babar. But Babar is more classical , is way better than Mushfiqur was at the start of his career. Important thing is how Babar improves in next few years as a batsman.

Mushfiqar is a brilliant LO player. Can handle all types of bowling and can adjust his game according to the situation.

I'll take Babar over him. He's averaging around 50 or over so and he is just about to enter his peak years. Mushfiqar has really improved his numbers he has got more experience.

Babar is far better than rahim. Rahim averages 35 in ODI cricket. Babar averages 51.

Babar Azam is good batsmen but he is boring. You know you will get consistency from him and will hit nice cover drives, hit a nice 50 here and there which will please English commentators like Boring, not my cup of tea.

But with Litton one day he can show up and hit any bowler for 6 sixes, he has that x factor also kid got hit in the head but got up and kept on batting, he has the eye of the tiger and all that. I am telling you 'Liton Kumar Das' remember the name

If you go by average then Bevan, Dhoni are better players than Sachin. Class is what catches your eyes and you'll remember like those 3 Liton sixes. Mushy, Shakib's innings I forgot already but it's those shots and his bravery.

Mushfiqur is a very good player now and is a match winner, but was not this good earlier in his career. He kept growing and became the player he is today, so respect for that. Babar is already amazing, but always making silly mistakes and not getting us to the finishing line. Babar is very young and will mature with time.
