Michael Ballack presents a plant fertilizer product in the popular TV show "Die Höhle der Löwen". To prove that it is chemical-free, the 45-year-old also drinks from it.
Remarkable performance by Michael Ballack!
The 45-year-old presented a new plant fertilizer product on the popular TV show "Die Höhle der Löwen" on Vox - and used unusual methods at the same time.
To prove that "Lucky Plant" is a purely vegan product without chemicals, Ballack drank together with friend Bernhard Unger and agricultural scientist Dr. Thomas Hüster - his two co-founders - the fertilizer from a glass.
Lions enthusiastic about Ballack product
The "lions" were enthusiastic about the campaign, and about the product in general, and were ready to invest in the "energy drink for plants", as Ballack called the fertilizer.
The demand from Ballack and his fellow campaigners: 100,000 euros as a start-up entry, in return there are 20 percent company shares for the investor.
Sarna Röser and Dagmar Wöhrl teamed up and bid 100,000 euros. Likewise Carsten Maschmeyer and Ralf Dümmel. Only Judith Williams held back.
In the end, investor Dümmel was awarded the contract. The 55-year-old had come out as a big football fan.
“We are overwhelmed. We didn't expect so many offers. That was a win,” Ballack explained afterwards.
With Lucky Plant you want to bring the "plants to Champions League level".
