Seems like a foregone conclusion now and yet another worrying chapter for Chelsea's rivals.

It seems to me that Chelsea have first say on any player wishing to come to the Premiership and Ballack is a class act.

Only thing is though, how does he keep all these superstars happy ?

Will Ballack and Lampard not infringe on each other's play?

and Chelsea have well and truly ruined football

They will not infring on each others play. If they get Ballack I will feel sick, he is top notch and they will be even stronger.

If its any consolation, Abramovich, Mourinho and their Galactoco's wont get any sleep until they win the following titles in ONE season:-

-Eng Premiership
-Champions League
-FA Cup
-Carling Cup
-European Super Cup
-World Club Championship

Until they do that, every season will be a failure

chelsea will probably play a 4-1-2-2-1 formation

makelele to anchor then lampard and ballack as the central box to box midfielders. 2 wingers and a one striker, ballack may even be pushed up the pitch to play off the lone striker - the person that should be worried is essien!

Ballack is 30.. he would not get a better deal anywhere else.. I believe Shevchenko will also be signed.. both are at the wrong side of 30.. Chelsea have failed to make a really big signing of a worldclass player apart from Crespo..as for keeping them happy..im sure the pay packet helps..

Essian should be very worried! Well that was £32 million well spent wasn't it?

Emilio Ballack, son of former Germany, Chelsea and Bayern Munich midfielder Michael Ballack, has died.

The 18-year-old was killed in a quad bike incident in the holiday destination Troia, south of Lisbon in the early hours of Thursday morning.

Firefighters and police officers rushed to the incident but he died at the scene with psychologists also on hand to provide support to the family.

Portuguese media reports said the teenager had been riding on an uneven piece of land near the Ballack family home, when the bike rolled backwards and fell on top of him.

Ballack drinks fertilizer on TV show

Michael Ballack presents a plant fertilizer product in the popular TV show "Die Höhle der Löwen". To prove that it is chemical-free, the 45-year-old also drinks from it.

Remarkable performance by Michael Ballack!

The 45-year-old presented a new plant fertilizer product on the popular TV show "Die Höhle der Löwen" on Vox - and used unusual methods at the same time.

To prove that "Lucky Plant" is a purely vegan product without chemicals, Ballack drank together with friend Bernhard Unger and agricultural scientist Dr. Thomas Hüster - his two co-founders - the fertilizer from a glass.

Lions enthusiastic about Ballack product

The "lions" were enthusiastic about the campaign, and about the product in general, and were ready to invest in the "energy drink for plants", as Ballack called the fertilizer.

The demand from Ballack and his fellow campaigners: 100,000 euros as a start-up entry, in return there are 20 percent company shares for the investor.

Sarna Röser and Dagmar Wöhrl teamed up and bid 100,000 euros. Likewise Carsten Maschmeyer and Ralf Dümmel. Only Judith Williams held back.

In the end, investor Dümmel was awarded the contract. The 55-year-old had come out as a big football fan.

“We are overwhelmed. We didn't expect so many offers. That was a win,” Ballack explained afterwards.

With Lucky Plant you want to bring the "plants to Champions League level".

Will there be more players like Michael Ballack can defend can attack play as a holding midfielder No.10 and even on wings shame he missed 02WC final
