no one was hyping Rameez Aziz, I only said that for our team we have quite a few players in line before Umar Amin namely Haris, Hussain, Asif, etc

and these were my words that "underachievers like Umar Siddiq and Rameez Aziz"

see the word 'underachievers'. ?? no one is hyping him. If u watched u-19 wc 2010 then commentators also said good things about Rameez and said he can be the next big deal. he has regressed a lot now and havent worked on his game.
 
One of the many issues we face. Domestically or batsmen can't play the short ball for the most part. This makes it the go to ball for our pace bowlers, especially at the death. But when they try that in the international arena they get murdered. Cause most international batsmen are at home against the short ball.

The chief selector is Inzi the revolutionary. Not only both Akmals will be selected, but TTFs like Butt and Azhar will be recalled as well

Umar and Azhar are coming back for CT, it is almost confirmed, several journalists have spoken

I won't be surprised if Fakhar is dropped, Zakir will be dropped too not that he deserved a call-up in the first place

From what I have heard Kamran, Asghar, Zakir and Fahim are most probably going to be dropped.
 
Couple of issues with Baluchistan team:

They should not bat Saad Ali after Sohaib Maqsood and Bismillah Khan :facepalm:. Saad Ali is ideal at #4.

Ramiz Aziz is a test player. So its better they dont play him. But if they want to play him then play him at #3.

Aamer Yamin is not #8 batsman :facepalm:
 
Yamin batting is good, but last time we saw him in PSL, his bowling was pretty poor, bowling at 125, with nothing much to offer in terms of swing and control. I am not sure in ICC tournament one can have 10 overs from such a bowler. You cannot drop Shadab, he is a wicket taker and can bat. Yamin cannot replace Hasan, Amir or Wahab/Sohail, they all are much better bowler than him. I don't see him in the team on batting alone...Pakistan's cannot afford to have a trash bowler in the line up, when our batting is so weak...
 
Pathetic start by Sindh, they deserve to lose this one.

Asif Zakir also doesn't look anything special.

Ideally, Amin, Haris, Yamin (15 men squad so 4 out 3 in), Talat as well if 16 is allowed. Most probably, Inzi'll bring Azhar & Umar - so only player from this tournament has chance is Yamin, that too because Fahim didn't get any match.
 
Bowl 6 good length balls on or just outside off stump, 95% Pakistani batsmen will play out a maiden.

Amir Yamin and Azizullah are hitting the same spot over and over again and the batsmen aren't trying anything different to score runs.
 
Khurram Manzoor has a List A average of 50. :facepalm: :facepalm: :facepalm:

No - they'll need 200 in last 15 overs. These 2 are not playing to chase - they are playing to get a good score which'll be sold well to Inzamam Ul Haq, backed by Karachi lobby in media.

Only possible in PAK that Saud is not getting a match even for a regional side after touring with A team less than a year back.
 
Asif Zakir is such a rubbish batsman. He must have good connection to get selected.

yess u r right..news are there that umar and azhaar are back while sif zakir...asghar and fahim are going to be dropped..

Umar hack>>>>> Zakir. Neither of Azhar or Umar should not be in the team.

No Karachi Lobby doesn't identify itself with Sindh. Cricketers usually come from Karachi, the Karachi lobby will want Sindh to do as worst as possible so that it can dissassociate itself from Sindh (political reasons ofcourse)
 
yes, one urdu news paper reported it but in contrast they published inzi's interview in which he said shehzad and kamran needs more time

I wonder, why I make you confused every time - Karachi or Sindh lobby is immaterial in PAK Domestic style, because next day Manzoor might play for Punajb or Lahore City Corporation. The issue is constant lobbying of the likes of Rashid Latif for players based in Karachi. Sindh or Karachi is just names, there is no stable structure in PAK Domestics - playing for Sindh or Karachi doesn't make any difference for Manzoor or Asif Zakir, who recently toured Caribbean.

Why is hasan mohsin even playing? Sindh are horrible with emerging players. Should be penalised for it and a rule change necessary

Expectation on Inzi was high & he speaks right words, then does opposite, therefore people gets upset, almost heart broken. This is because, people don't know Inzamam ul Haq - neither understands what it means 3 debutantes in 4 years for a single match, when PAK won 2 U19 WCs. Even in this bankrupt days of WI cricket, from last U19 team, Hetmayer & Josheph has made into National team within a year, probably Paul & the all-rounder guy will debut against Afghans in 2 months time (& may be that bulky opener as well). PAK won the 2 WCs and only players somehow managed to play one match was Riaz Afridi .....

I am quite impressed with Inzi actually, because I knew what should be expected - I was almost certain that Gul, Kamran, Afridi, Razzak will make a comeback & last till 2019 WC; Rana Naved, MoYo are just too old unfortunately.

Regarding bringing young players, I don't think it's only Inzi or Misbah - whole system backs anyone who has built relationship for 15 years. Follow IPL, you'll see a deliberate ploy to promote Indian young players - be batsmen or bowler; unknown to half known youngsters are promoted to no. 1-4 slots, young pacers are given new ball - then check what is happening even in this PAK Cup without top 20 players; this is not for Misbah, Inzi, YK only.
 
why is hasan mohsin in the team , he wasnt given the ball and he isnt considered good enough to bat even at number 6.
