Its not odis , its the time they are taking to finish overs. They should bowl at least 14.3 overs per hour and they hardly bowl 12. I love Odis , t20s I don't like much.

ODIs are much much better than T20s. I love test cricket but ODIs are my favourite format

T20 is good too , its the only format where lesser teams can compete with the better teams.

Test cricket is the pinnacle of cricket when two evenly matched teams play.

Shehzad looks much more confident as he is the captain as well. I hope it brings some positivity to his otherwise timid batting approach.

Great shot :4:

What do you mean he got back without effort? Goes on to show your poor knowledge about Pakistan cricket.

Edit: I just read another poster's reply; you are an indian so i would understand you attacking one of our players.

Shezzy is a cancer to the national team. His ego is bloated beyond belief. It's pain listening to him talk.
His ODI strike rate is lower than Younis Khan and Misbah's. In 7 years in the national team, he's regressed.

Okay. :)

This is how you lead from the front, batting with an ideal S/R, tuk tuk captain should have batted like this when he was the captain.

Disappointing wicket again.

I understand why apart from Misbah almost every high scorer of this tournament is from Top 3. Once the ball loses it's shine, it's really tough to time the ball. In fact, Misbah's 1st innings was a gift by umpire - if you don't give LBW on such occasions, bowlers will hardly get any wicket in Test.

I think, only match that a chasing side won here led YK to withdraw from the tournament & rightly so. I don't like his antics but somewhere it has to stop - every established PAK player adds at least 5 to 10 runs to his domestic average for umpiring & this 'll continue until someone burns his hand. I don't know how tough it is to make 3 true wickets with proper pace & bounce?

I am a bit surprised here -

Modern ODI is about maintaining run rate & put score board pressure with good fielding. For that, every team now days pick at most 3 specialist bowlers 2/3 all-rounders & if possible couple of batting all-rounders so that Captain has lots of options. Here is Pakistan Cup, I see teams are picking 5, even 6 specialist bowlers - in 70s, I know that AUS & WI used to play with Hogg or Holding at 8, even 7 (one of the reason was 60 overs match, therefore it was an bit shortened Test match - team use to plan to get 10 wickets, rather than restricting runs); but 35 years later, this is a bit confusing to see teams formed with 6/7 bowlers & at least 4 of them pacers on these shambolic dead slow wickets.

Tbh this is one thing that frustrates me a lot but it's good to see Azhar and Sarfraz and Malik play with good batting depth. KPK and Islamabad are the teams which are playing too many bowlers. This was a flaw in Misbahs captaincy that he played too many bowlers. I don think Azhar makes the same mistake

Pathetic batsmen 0 level hy inki game ka. Kohli ko to goli mro jo ipl my kohli ki team my kl rahul khl rha hy ye to ussy b match ny kr skty. Sri zindagi bas cricket hi kheli hy in sb ny aur wo b sae tra se ny ati inny. Bnda doosron ko dekh dekh ke hi seekh jta hy.

Zohaib needs to hit now. Target should be at least 250 so we can see a good game

That's because he is very much a traditional & unimaginative Captain - doesn't believe in "filling-up" bowling quota, doesn't know how to "squeeze" batting side with few unconventional overs & doesn't trust youngsters. It's a safe route & these type of Captain actually is not good for long-term. In PAK National team, if Babar goes for 80 in 10 overs, no one 'll blame Captain, but if Nawaz or Gohar goes for that amount, 1st man to be questioned is Captain - why picked the kid & then why he was bowled 10 overs.

Otherwise, Misbah is a fantastic gentleman & great man-manager, he is by far the best person to lead Test side because the game is still simple - pick best 6 batsmen & 4 bowlers; fortunately for his PAK Test side is also very settled, therefore he isn't challenged to pick youngsters. Couple of times, in his last WC, he had to play ODI like Test match (that's take 10 wickets to win the match) - he led team excellently. Had ZIM or SAF been chasing 256 or 260, I think PAK would have lost the match.

Come on boys, time to accelerate now.

KPK has won this game - want to bet? It's a 75 runs handicap for batting 1st wicket, despite dew. Had it been a Day game, batting 1st 200 is a winning total. Despite that fantastic start & batting depth, Punjab failed to chase 262 under light - indicative enough.

Studying but I was watching it as well. A levels start in a week

Good luck bro. I've missed a lot of this tournament too because of studies. I've made the mistake of prioritizing cricket over studies before and paid the price for it too lol. So just an advice to keep studies as your main focus, you can always catch #GreenRoars ' highlights later :P

Waisay A-Levels are easier to manage than college because you're pretty much studying the whole year round. I'm sure you'll ace the papers. :)

Thanks a lot bro

Ajmal's action looks questionable again in open eye. He is trying round arm, but I think he is putting extra force from elbow.

What a bloody waste of time. Of course it's not out display it already

Yasir will be an important tailender in England and Australia. Needs to practice batting. Unlike other tailender a he can score. Very wristy player as well. Our tail won't be that bad with Yasir, Amir and Wahab in it
