Sami Aslam scratched around selfishly and it required a partner to to play a strike rate of 140 to ensure the team score did not lose momentum. Needs to show he won't be a coward in the rest of the tournament to justify selection . His score today is pretty much what Shehzad does when playing at his best

Perfectly summed up. He actually has decent temperament but lacks the brain and his footwork is really bad. If he could work with a decent batting coach he could easily average about 35 plus with strike rate over 85 which is respectable for Pakistan standard

After team came back from NZ..he was asked where do you see yourself batting in the long run..he started with the whole I'm available wherever the team needs me mantra but said he would prefer to play at 4 or 5 and feels that would be his best spot to cement a place in test cricket too

good point. amazed by Khurram Manzoor's batting today. I always thought that this guy's game is best suited for ODIs. Should be selected in Pak ODI team as an opener.
